For each framework we can now set a record matching rule to use when searching for duplicates. This allow to use different matching rules while in acquisition for instance (ACQ framework). If a matching rule is selected, we also have the ability to forbid the creation of duplicate: if a duplicate is found and this option is enabled, the usual option to create a duplicate will be hidden. If no matching rule is selected, then the default matching mechanism is used. Test plan: 1. Create a record matching rule matching on ISBN Threshold: 100 Record type: biblio Match point: Search index: "isbn" Score: 100 Tag: "020" (or "010" for UNIMARC) Subfields: "a" Offset: 0 Length: 0 Normalization rule: Remove spaces No match checks 2. Edit the default MARC framework and select the new matching rule and enable "Forbid duplicate creation" 3. Create a biblio with an ISBN 4. Make sure your new biblio is indexed in Zebra or ES 5. Try to create a biblio with the same ISBN. You should see a warning about the duplicate with no option to create the duplicate biblio 6. In the acquisitions module, in a basket add a new order from an external source (requires a configured Z39.50/SRU server) 7. Choose a record with an ISBN 8. Once the order is created, try to create a new order from an external source and choose the same record. You should see a warning about the duplicate. 9. Edit the record matching rule and disable "Forbid duplicate creation" 10. Redo step 5. Now there should be an option to create the duplicate record. 11. Redo step 8. Now there should be an option to create the duplicate record. 12. Run the following test scripts: - t/db_dependent/Search.t - t/db_dependent/Matcher.t Sponsored-by: SCD Lyon2 Signed-off-by: Andrew Fuerste Henry <andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com> Signed-off-by: Jeanne Maurielle <jeanne.mauriello(a)mainlib.org> Signed-off-by: Andrew Fuerste Henry <andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 28957] Many plugins require the full plugins permission set to run
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 10 Jun '26

10 Jun '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28957 --- Comment #12 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- (In reply to Luis Bataller from comment #11) > We've actually been carrying a local patch for this at Xercode for over a > year now, and it's basically David's comment #8 (option 2): an optional > plugin hook that lets the plugin say which permissions a given method needs. Thanks for adding that, Luis. I think Bywater are doing work on refactoring Koha's permission system, so it could be useful for you to join the discussion on that as well: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20813 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 42806] New: Sticky CSS for Report Column Headers
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 10 Jun '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42806 Bug ID: 42806 Summary: Sticky CSS for Report Column Headers Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Reports Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tgoatley(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com Target Milestone: --- It would be so nice for Koha users if the Column header was sticky but like a greenbar report if it had some 10-20px margin line above and below the column header that when you scrolled stayed in place so the user had a great report/large report scrolling experience that'd be awesome. The CSS below works but it needs the margin lines set. Thanks! /*report sticky column header scroll css*/ #report_results thead th { position: sticky; top: 0; background-color: #F8F8F8; z-index: 100; border-bottom: 2px solid #ccc; box-shadow: 0 2px 2px -1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2); } /*end report sticky column header scroll css*/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 42805] New: Overdues report: Add the ability to choose more that one patron category

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42805 Bug ID: 42805 Summary: Overdues report: Add the ability to choose more that one patron category Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: caroline.cyr-la-rose(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com Target Milestone: --- When you go in Circulation > Overdues, you can filter the overdues by different criteria, including the patron category. It would be great if you could choose more that one option in the patron category so as not to have to run the report multiple times if you need all but a couple of categories. To recreate: 1. Go to Circulation > Overdues --> Note that there is a dropdown menu for patron categories. It is not possible to choose more than one category at a time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 21572] New: Allow checkout an item with reserve that is not yet in waiting state
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 09 Jun '26

09 Jun '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21572 Bug ID: 21572 Summary: Allow checkout an item with reserve that is not yet in waiting state Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: joonas.kylmala(a)helsinki.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Currently if a librarian checkouts an item to a patron that is in the "Reserved" state the librarian will get a prompt saying "Item Whinney pooh / (1111111111 has been on hold for Joe (1111111111) at My Library since 15.10.2018". If there is little staff the holds might pile up and then patrons who actually went to the library cannot checkout those items. Some libraries prefer to give the first to the patrons who went actually to the physical library building instead of just reserved it online. Koha actually used to work like this with the SIP server before commit "Bug 15438 - Checking out an on-hold item sends holder's borrowernumber in AF (screen message) field." -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 13654] Cannot place a hold for biblio with too many items to display unless viewing them all
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 09 Jun '26

09 Jun '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13654 Avery Campbell (Butte County Library (CA)) <acampbell(a)buttecounty.ca.gov> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |acampbell(a)buttecounty.ca.go | |v --- Comment #23 from Avery Campbell (Butte County Library (CA)) <acampbell(a)buttecounty.ca.gov> --- Adding a comment to stir up interest. Holds can still be placed from the search results, even when the items are too many to display in the record. Would it be simpler to just reuse the same link info? Also, the 'Place Hold' only hides when signed in as a patron or non-Superlibrarian staff. Superlibrarians, and patrons not signed in, have the 'place hold' link in the sidebar. If this is an account permission, why would not signing in have more access than a patron signed in? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
