[Bug 13958] Add a suspensionsCalendar syspref
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 27 May '19

27 May '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13958 Tomás Cohen Arazi <tomascohen(a)gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Severity|enhancement |major --- Comment #1 from Tomás Cohen Arazi <tomascohen(a)gmail.com> --- Bug 19204 introduced a behavior change making the suspension calculation follow finesCalendar. While this is desirable, libraries have their own rules and this change requires more flexibility so they can revert the 'fix' and follow their established rules. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

What shall we do about it? My plugin actually works the same way and it doesn't need rebase now. It also doesn't need the creation of an index. There is also this Mana patch (just added in the "See also"). Is it still worth it to keep that one opened? Is any one willing to take that one? [Bug 18646] New: Recommendation system for OPAC which integrates with the Mana database
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 27 May '19

27 May '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18646 Bug ID: 18646 Summary: Recommendation system for OPAC which integrates with the Mana database Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 17.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: ASSIGNED Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: alexbuckley(a)catalyst.net.nz Reporter: alexbuckley(a)catalyst.net.nz QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org At present the Koha OPAC does not have a recommendation system which recommends items to patrons based on what either patrons also viewed, in much the same way that the Amazon recommendation engine does. The patches that will be developed to provide this functionality will store recommendation data persistently so that previous issues information does not have to be kept in the local instance database which would violate the US Patriot Act and French Law. Additionally to have a greater sample size to generate the recommendations the recommendation system will integrate with the Mana database. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

To test: - Place a hold on an item - Go to the patron account - Click on the Suspend button on the holds tab - Click on the calendar to enter a date - Click on the pull downs for month and year, the pull downs don't open - Verify the arrow buttons still work for moving between months -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
