"We have about 10 item types that are "media" (CDs, DVDs, records, etc.). Our circulation department would like to restrict checkouts to three media items total, not three of each kind." When creating your items on order the possibility to create items there does not make sense. When changing the quantity the uncertain price will be unset and the quantity changes to your entered number.
