Also doesn't allow list names that have leading or trailing whitespace. List names now have to contain a non-whitespace character, and must not start or end with whitespace. If the list name starts/ends with whitespace, the user gets a popup and the list is not created. Open a record and add a new field say 700. [Note that the problem also occurs for existing fields.] a) Fill 700-4 with a relator, 700-a with a name (if attached to authority, then 700-9 is filled too) and 700-d with a year. b) Save. 2) Edit this record again. Goto the newly added 700. a) Unclone the 700-4 subfield that is listed first. [The position of the subfield is crucial !! ] b) Verify that you still have 700-a (evt. 700-9) and 700-d. c) Save. 3) Edit again. Check the 700 field. Note that the subfields 700-4, 700-a (pos. 700-9) and 700-d are GONE too. The whole field 700 is erased insteaf of only 700-4. The subroutine for sending HOLD and HOLD_PRINT notices only checked the "email" field of the borrowers table and didn't check the value of the AutoEmailPrimaryAddress preference. With this patch, "Hold filled" notices can now be sent using the other email addresses of the member, depending on the value of the AutoEmailPrimaryAddress preference. Also, if AutoEmailPrimaryAddress is set to "first valid", the other email fields of the user are checked before falling back to a print notice. When trying to use the script "./merge_authority.pl -b" to merge all authorities, an error is returned. Here is an example using the verbose mode : $ ./merge_authority.pl -b -v Merging managing 76871 managing 14291 {_conn} undefined: has this Connection been destroy()ed? at /usr/lib/perl5/ZOOM.pm line 341. The problem seems to happen because the ZOOM connection to the biblioserver is destroyed on line 1305 of AuthoritiesMarc.pm. The merge is done correctly for the first authority, but an error is returned when we get to the second one because the connection was destroyed by the first call to &merge. There seems to be no way to check if a connection was destroyed, so I modified the &merge subroutine so it won't destroy the connection, but will return it to its original state after &merge is done with it. The problem happens after the patch from Bug 5862 is applied to let the user save system preferences on IE8 : When new settings are saved, the message "Saved" appears in the middle of the screen in a black box. This box closes automatically in firefox, but not in IE8. It seems a timeout of "Infinity" is used to close the box. On IE8, this means the box is never closed. I changed the default timeout value from "Infinity" to 2000 (2 seconds), and now the box disappears correctly on IE8.
