Severity: enhancement Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: mtompset(a)hotmail.com Hardware: All Status: NEW Version: unspecified Component: Circulation Product: Koha Bug 7851 initialized a hash incorrectly. our %renew_failed = {}; This attempts to create a hash of a single anonymous hash reference which generates the error: circulation.pl: Reference found where even-sized list expected at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/circ/circulation.pl line 97. As I do not know how my proposed change of: our %renew_failed = (); will work in a plack context, I would need someone to assist in testing that. I was thinking of reverting to no initialization, but based on my reading of bug 7851, that isn't an option. In the worst case scenario: our %renew_failed = ( "dummyplaceholderkey" => "dummyplaceholdervalue" ); should work. To reproduce the bug: - Define a borrower category 'foo' with Enrollment fee - Create a new 'foo' borrower - Click on Check out tab - A message is displayed: Fees & Charges: Patron has Outstanding fees & charges of xx.00. Checkouts are BLOCKED because fine balance is OVER THE LIMIT. Since there appear to be no results to refine, the holds to pull list appears completely empty. Staff have to know to click "Submit" on the "Refine Results" form to get anything. I propose that we have the "run_report" flag set to ON for the initial load.
