So, all the fields indexed in other indexes are also indexed in "any". So, for example, in my unimarc catalogue, if I search for "fre" in the opac, I get 342825 results, because it is the code for french language in 101a field, index in "ln". Idem if I search for "lc" or "rameau" (equivalent to LCSH in France), or "texte" And with fuzzy or autotruncate activated, it is, very very annoying. My idea is : - to keep the "all any" - to create a more specific index, matching only important field, but in any event NOT matching coded fields and some boring notes... - use this index in opac simple search (and maybe in staff interface simple search but this could be discussed...) Todo : - check bib1.att & ccl.properties to see if some index not used in Koha today could be used. When creating your items on order the possibility to create items there does not make sense. When changing the quantity the uncertain price will be unset and the quantity changes to your entered number. At the end of the month, the librarian uploads the .txt files using the inventory tool. The problem is that some of the items have been checked out over the course of that month. For example, perhaps the item was on the shelf in August and was scanned by a volunteer, but then the item was checked out to a patron in September. When the librarian uploads the text file later in September, Koha updates the date last seen to today, even though the real date last seen is the date that the item was checked out to the patron. The librarian would prefer that the inventory tool were enhanced so that it's smart enough to skip any items that are currently checked out at the time the .txt file is uploaded. For this library, inventory is a long process that is not done in 'real time,' so their use of the inventory tool is a bit different from how it was designed to be used. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Doing this hides the "Check for embedded item record data?" question correctly. However, after clicking on "Stage for import", the list of feedback includes "0 item records found and staged". After clicking on the "Manage staged records" link on that same screen, the new screen that appears includes an option for "Item processing" as well as the text "Add new bibliographic records into this framework:" followed by a dropdown containing the bibliographic frameworks. See attached screenshot. The ccode images should appear too. As it is now : * no images are displayed on the result page * ccode and lost are displayed on the detail page * location is never displayed To be added : * ccode, lost and location in the result page * location in the detail page Note : There's also a translation problem (in french) for the AuthorisedValueImages system preference.
