For Visually Impaired Users, this might not be as easy. The latter one is, I feel, misnamed: it does not allow browsing in the normal sense. Instead, it is another kind of advanced search. A proper browsing feature would allow you to click on lists of subjects, and get lists of books in those subjects. The current one requires you to know suitable search words, which you might not have at all. In physical libraries (and bookstores), one of the most pleasurable things is to randomly walk and see what kinds of books there are, and what subjects there are, rather than look for a specific book. "Browse by subject" currently does not support that. It would be nice if it did. But that's a different thing. When creating a new patron or modifying the full page of a patron, if the userid input zone is left empty, a userid like "firstname.surname" will be generated. But when accessing the editing page through the "Details"/"Library Details" tab, only a section of the editing page is displayed. The firstname and surname input boxes are not present, but the perl code assume that they are. In this case, if you empty the userid box, the perl script will try to generate a new id but "firstname" and "surname" will be empty. You end up with a simple dot as a login. Each library is separated by a <br> tag so that they are arranged in a vertical column. Unfortunately, the dropdown menu appears to use this column as a datasource, so it concatenates each library to produce one single string containing the codes/names of all the libraries. This provokes the use of american format dates in calendar pop-up. I had a discussion on translate list, the way chosen to repair it is to use HTML escape char sequence "'" instead of single quote in translated strings. Same thing for double quotes, &, < and >.
