I just tested it. I invastigated a little bit more and checked the release notes for 3.14.07. There is this patch (http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11652) which is a fix for this feature. Since it works on master, maybe something went wrong when the patch got merge to 3.14.07... Test scenario: 1. Have two authorities in the catalogue, linked to biblio records. 2. Merge them with the new merge facility (cf. Bug 5202). 3. Have a look a the biblio record(s) previously linked to the removed authority. It result in all packages being loaded (& compiled) on each page. This bugzilla entry will contain the work to remove as much as possible the dependancies That will be achieved through : * removing use C4::otherpackage and using require C4::otherpackage in the subs that need C4::otherpackage. Require is loaded at run time only. Most of the time, the C4::otherpackage is loaded everytime, just to be used once, in one sub (that is rarely used) * removing useless subs that use a C4::otherpackage::sub, because there are some Cleaning for each package will result in a patch, with a lot of comments/details/feedback. To reproduce: - Go to a patron's detail page (choose a patron with an image attached) - Enable the browser's network profiling interface - Switch between tabs (Checkouts, Details, Fines, etc) => FAIL: patronimage.pl&borrowernumber=X is retrieved each time [1] I've been told it is intended that each time the patron image is updated it has to instantly load the new one. This could be better handled using a timestamp and the Last-Modified header. This may be ok in large libraries who have staff to check the incoming queue rigorously, but for small libraries who want all borrowers to self register, this is a big problem. If a borrower forgets their password or misses the password during self registration, they can create as many accounts as they like with the same information.
