Here's one scenario: I clicked on a pay fine that was $3 typed in $2 and accidently hit confirm twice. I some how ended up with a -1.70. When I went back and looked at the fines it showed three 2.00 fines had been paid. Additionally, these notices ship by default with the dateissued, instead of the date_due, which makes little sense to borrowers. I propose we change the default date on advanced_notices to date_due (remember, you'll retain the option to set it to the dateissued if you want to), update the crontab.example to reflect the change as well, and improve the POD to reflect that the option is available for advanced/due notices. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. As with any string stored in database, it's difficult to update and synchronize those files. I propose to use language descriptions out of database using standard templates files. Their URL are requested via a web service to Coce which manages a cache of URLs. Three cover image providers are now available: Google Books (gb), Amazon (aws), and Open Library (ol). Two system preferences enable this service: - CoceHost - URL of Coce server - CoceProviders - Ordered list of requested providers. For example gb,aws,ol, will return the first available URL from those providers. Several advantages to this architecture: - If a book cover is not available from a provider, but is available from another one, Koha will be able to display a book cover, which isn't the case now - Since URLs are cached, it isn't necessary for each book cover to request, again and again, the provider, and several of them if necessary. - Amazon book covers are retrieved with Amazon Product Advertising API, which means that more covers are retrieved (ISBN13). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
