"We have about 10 item types that are "media" (CDs, DVDs, records, etc.). Our circulation department would like to restrict checkouts to three media items total, not three of each kind." Without line breaks, all of the detail renders on a single line when viewed in email. When you edit a created patron category the limitations are saved correctly. If you do not have hourly loans, the 23:59:00 on the CHECKOUT notice may be somewhat confusing. (When does the library close?) In the patch submitted I virtually add a date_due_without_time column to the issues table by adding such a field in the SELECT statement in Letters.pm, routine _parseletter_sth.
