In this case the branchcode used in the suggestions table is _ANY_. I think this creates a few problem. I think one will be that we can't create a FK constraint on the branchcode for the suggestions table. Instead it uses bespoke code that does not behave like the traditional search and is very limited in how it can search. If, for example, I search for "hall, k" in the standard search, I would get "Kyle Hall" back as a result. For the autocomplete search, I will not. In a library system that allows patrons to check out from various branches, without any transport between branches, this can be quite irritating. It would be nice to optionally allow the generation of separate emails per items homebranch instead. It would be great to have such custom links areas in each module.
