[Bug 16116] New: Change of issue publication date doesn't reflect on the next issue generated
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 May '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16116 Bug ID: 16116 Summary: Change of issue publication date doesn't reflect on the next issue generated Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Serials Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: francois.charbonnier(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: colin.campbell(a)ptfs-europe.com I noticed in 3.20, but also in master, that you can't change the next issue publication date when editing a serial subscription anymore. And, that we lost a feature I liked when receiving a new issue. Before 3.20, when receiving a new issue, you could change the "Published on" date and Koha will adjust the subscription's next issue publication date for all the new issues to be received. Test plan : 1. In Cataloging > New with Z39.50, look for issn = 1536-6596 (National Geographic) into the LCC z39.60 server. Add the record. 2. Add a new subscription for National Geographic. Fill-in the form. - use the default values of the first page - for the second page : First issue publication date = 10/01/2016 Frequency = 1/month Subscription lenght = 12 issues Subscription start date = 01/01/2016 Numbering pattern = Number Begins with = 1 - Save 3. Receive the first issue. Change the status to "received". Note that the "Published on" date = 10/01/2016. This date goes to the "Date published" column in the serial collection page. 4. The second issue is generated. Edit serial to receive the issue. 5. Change the "Published on" date to 11/02/2016. Change the status to "received". Save. 6. "Date published" for the next issue generated is : 10/03/2016. Before 3.20, it would have been "11/03/2016". It was a shortcut to change the Next issue publication date from the subscription. 7. Edit the subscription. Change the "Next issue publication date" to : 11/03/2016. 8. Go back to the serial collection page. Date published for the last expected issue = 11/03/2016 9. Receive the issue. Change the status to "received". Save 10. The next issue generated is 10/04/2016. It should have been 11/04/2016. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

In fact I think it would make sense to use the same system preference, IndependentBranchesPatronModifications, for both. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 15749] New: Add library menu to OPAC header

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15749 Bug ID: 15749 Summary: Add library menu to OPAC header Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: chad(a)pennmanor.net QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Our librarians requested the ability to search a specific library from the opac without requiring a patron to login or setup filters. We have a number of young patrons and the current process is rather cumbersome. I have some code that creates a Library menu in the opac header. It allows for an anonymous patron to select a library from the menu and have their search results automatically filtered. I have been working with Kyle Hall and the rest of the ByWater team to cleanup some of our modifications for potential inclusion upstream. A patch is coming... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 15883] New: Upgrade jQuery from v1.7.2 in the staff client
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 15 Oct '21

15 Oct '21

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15883 Bug ID: 15883 Summary: Upgrade jQuery from v1.7.2 in the staff client Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Templates Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: oleonard(a)myacpl.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Blocks: 14546 In order to upgrade Bootstrap in the staff client we first need to upgrade jQuery. After discussing it some in IRC (http://irc.koha-community.org/koha/2016-02-22#i_1791968) this is the plan I'm working on right now: An initial patch will start by adding the basis for upgrades: 1. Add a new version of doc-head-close.inc which includes new version of jQuery and jQueryUI. That include file will be named doc-head-close-jquery.1.12.0.inc to reflect the version of jQuery it uses. 2. Add the 1.12.0 version of jQuery, naming the file jquery-1.12.0.min.js 3. Add the latest version of jQueryUI, 1.11.4, naming the files jquery-ui-1.11.4.js and jquery-ui-1.11.4.min.css. Subsequent patches can take a page-by-page approach to the upgrade, dropping in the new include file and making any upgrades necessary to Javascript on that page. As compatibility issues are discovered, affected JS files can be re-created with updated file names to reflect the jQuery version, as in "basket-jquery-1.12.0.js" Disadvantages to this method: 1. It's possible some patches will have to touch both doc-head-close.inc and doc-head-close-jquery.1.12.0.inc. However that file changes fairly seldom. 2. git history getting lost between files. Can it be done so that the new include file keeps the history of doc-head-close.inc and doc-head-close.inc is created as if it is the new file? Eventually it could be removed. I would like to hear opinions and suggestions about this. This enhancement would also make it possible to use the script for other services since the output is no longer fixed to a single format. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
