https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15708 Bug ID: 15708 Summary: Add ability to allow only items whose home/holding branch matches one of a group of libraries to fill a given hold Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com This enhancement will extend the functionality added in Bug 15532 using the library groups editor in Bug 15707 to allow not only holds from a single library match but a group of libraries that match. This will give much greater flexibility in defining what items should full what holds within a groups of libraries. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16436 Bug ID: 16436 Summary: Allow action logs to be logged to the koha log file Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org It would be very useful if it were possible to log actions to a log file as well as to the database. With Koha::Logger we can give the option of sending those logs to a separate file, but by default they can go to the standard log files. They should also be off by default. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16522 Bug ID: 16522 Summary: Add 773 (Host item entry) to the cart display and e-mail Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When adding an analytical record to your cart or your list, the host item entry - the serial or monograph the analytic is included in, will now show. Ideally this information should show in staff and OPAC - in the brief display table - on the more details view - in the e-mail text For libraries with a lot of analytical records this is quite an issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 16488] New: UNIMARC to MARC21 xslt to be used in z39.50 import sources
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Mar '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16488 Bug ID: 16488 Summary: UNIMARC to MARC21 xslt to be used in z39.50 import sources Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 3.20 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Z39.50 / SRU / OpenSearch Servers Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: theod(a)lib.auth.gr QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl It would be very helpful to have at least a 'basic' xsl template to be able to convert UNIMARC data to USMARC when trying to search and import data from UNIMARC z39.50 sources. It seems that there is a generic xslt available for UNIMARC to MARC conversion (https://github.com/edsd/biblio-metadata/blob/master/UNIMARC2MARC21.xsl) but it obviously needs a few changes to work with Koha. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 15765] New: Request to replace patron number list by patron barcode list
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Jan '23

25 Jan '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15765 Bug ID: 15765 Summary: Request to replace patron number list by patron barcode list Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 3.22 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Label/patron card printing Assignee: cnighswonger(a)foundations.edu Reporter: Heinrich.Hartl(a)email.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Change request: Substitute patron barcodes for patron numbers Patron card creator is working with something called a batch. A batch is a list of patron numbers where patron number is the koha internal index of a patron. Unfortunately the patron number is to my knowledge a patron property that is not known elsewhere. E.g. it is not shown when displaying patron details. But even in the patron search part of patron card creator that number is not shown. In the patron search we see e.g. name and barcode of the patron. Patron barcodes are familiar and found in many reports, in patron import and in patron displays. I suggest to replace the list of patron numbers by a list of patron barcodes. Patron barcodes are also unique identifers of patrons, an unambigous index into the borrowers table. An entered barcode not necessarily identifies an existing patron. However an entered patron number is not more reliable since a patron may have been deleted or may not be existent. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Example: noissuecharge filled with 5 Patron has $ 5 in fines, it will not be blocked to check-out. We have to write 4.99 to block patron with 5 $ in fines. Noissuecharge should take account of the amount "greater than or equal to" Regards, Marjorie -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
