This patch uses the preference description suggested by comment #9. This version should now be cleanly applicable. I Apply the patch II Run updatedatabase.pl a) Run purge_suggestions.pl without the days parameter - validate that there is an error message b) Run purge_suggestions.pl with the days parameter - validate that there is no error message c) Insert a number of days in the system variable PurgeSuggestionsOlderThan d) Run purge_suggestions.pl without the days parameter - validate that there is no error message Signed-off-by: Liz Rea <liz(a)catalyst.net.nz> Tested per plan, all tests pass. Test 1. Add a MARC record with 650 with some subfields, says a z x a 2. Assume the ISBD preference define template for 650 as follows: #650|<br/><br/><label>Subjects--Topical Terms: </label>|{\n6503 }{\n650a}{ 650b }{ 650c }{ 650d }{ 650e }{--650x}{--650z}{--650y}{--650v}| 3. Go to ISBD tab, it will show: Subjects--Topical Terms: a--a--x--z 4. Apply patch 5. Go to ISBD tab, it will show the same result as in 3. 6. Change ISBD template for 650 to #650|<br/><br/><label>Subjects--Topical Terms: </label>|all--| 7. The script includes 2 function which check if it is possible to transform properly into the format "XX.XX" and which do it. The money symbols are ignored. All other symbols are ignored. Test plan : 1) Check you can't enter any string except like "XX.XX" when - you create a Budget (Administration->Budget) - you write a fine (Circulation->[select a Borrower]->new fine ) - you pay an existing fine 2) Apply patch 3) Check you can enter any string with - anything you want - a , or a . as separator (both are default) - change the syspref DigitSeparator into the separator you with and check again ex : XXX,XXX,XXX.XX => . XXX XXX XXX,XX => ,. or , XXX XXX XXX.XX => ,. or .
