However, the edited files have to be saved and restored with each release. Otherwise they are overwritten. As an enhancement or alternative, the existing news system can be used to implement a complementing help system. Similar to the news, the text can be created for all branches or for individual branches. Help is context sensitive (based on the existing help system), and it can be created / edited directly from the help page (based on a user permission). When a record has an item linked to an host item, both in Staff mode and in OPAC is visible in the item to which record is linked to, but this is not true the other way around, in the "mother" record you don't see in the items if there are records linked to that specific item(s)(The only option is the "show analytics" feature). Error occurs if subfield 100$a is made invisible in OPAC. It appears, that after filtering (rows 92-100), record is passed to XSLT processing (rows 152-163), and it already lacks field 100$a (it was filtered before). SetUTF8Flag (row 147) does not add filtered 100$a. So right now turning 100$a OPAC visibility off leads to error when user accesses opac-detail.pl. There is no problems with opac-MARCdetail.pl and opac-ISBDdetail.pl — subfield is hidden correctly. A librarian noted that she had an Excel spreadsheet of titles she was copying and pasting into Koha to search, and occasionally one of the titles wouldn't come up even though they have the book. ( CSV file containing titles is attached.) She noted if she just typed the title into Koha, it came up w/o a problem. Here's a screenshot of one of the failed searches. Notice the %C2%A0 between the words. That's the UTF-8 code for non-breaking space (see http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/00a0/index.htm) -- The underlying issue here is that when we paste in a search term containing the unicode NO-BREAK SPACE glyph, this arguably should be treated as white space, and the search should succeed if it matches strings with words separated by other whitespace characters. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
