It turned out in both cases that the user accounts had expired. Is it possible for an alert to show in the staff client when trying to renew an items for an expired borrower? The alert shows if trying to check out items to an expired borrower but this does not appear from the renewals screen. I have had a look in the system preferences but can't see anything obvious. It doesn't understand MODS XML over SRU either. However, when configuring the SRU, an XSLT file can be provided. So: is there an XSLT file for converting from MODS to MARC21? We dont process the FTX segment (segment 25) of the quote. Search "2001-2010" will give a list of results with 2001-2010 entered in marc field like 260$c2001-2010 or 264$2001-2010 Records with just 2001 in marc field will not be displayed in search results.
