[Bug 24357] New: Hide checkout box when OverduesBlockCirc is set to Block

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24357 Bug ID: 24357 Summary: Hide checkout box when OverduesBlockCirc is set to Block Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: caroline.cyr-la-rose(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Created attachment 96861 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=96861&action=ed… patron with overdue items If OverduesBlockCirc is set to Block, the checkout box appears in the user's patron file. We can scan the barcode, but only after the item is scanned there is a message saying the patron cannot check out. If NoIssuesCharge is enabled, and the patron owes more than the amount specified, the check out box does not appear at all. Instead, there is a message saying Cannot check out. I think if OverduesBlockCirc is set to Block, the checkout box should be hidden, with a message Cannot check out Patron has overdue items, etc... See screenshots 1) patron with overdue items 2) warning saying that patron cannot checkout after I've already scanned the item's barcode 3) patron with charges over the amount in NoIssuesCharge -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 20551] New: Add option for including deleted records in export_records.pl
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Jul '26

20 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20551 Bug ID: 20551 Summary: Add option for including deleted records in export_records.pl Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: glasklas(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz Add an option "--include_deleted" to also include possibly deleted biblios in export. This option can only be used together with --date, and --record-type=biblio. The rational behind this is that use case does not makes much sense (if you are doing a full export, why would you include deleted biblios) and thus some extra complexity can be avoided. Superficially related to https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=17693, not really quite different as this includes the whole biblio-record (with record status set to "d" in leader) in the regular export, not just biblio ids. This is a requirement for synchronizing with the discovery-system we are currently using for example and imho is a more standard and MARC-compliant way of supporting export of record deletions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 20644] New: Per itemtype setting for CheckPrevCheckout
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Jul '26

17 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20644 Bug ID: 20644 Summary: Per itemtype setting for CheckPrevCheckout Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: magnus(a)libriotech.no QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Bug 6906 introduced the new CheckPrevCheckout syspref. The description says: "New feature: provide granular means to configure warnings about items that have been issued to a particular borrower before, according to their checkout history." I assume "items" here is shorthand for "items connected to the same bibliographic record"? Just checking on the item level would not be all that useful, if there are more than one copy of e.g. a book. On the other hand, this does not work so well for periodicals/journals where individual issues are entered as separate items. If a patron borrows the last three issues of a journal, the second one will give a warning that the patron has previously borrowed this "title". Could it be possible to have a setting on the itemtypes to choose one of these two? - Check if a patron has previously borrowed individual items (suitable for periodicals/journals) - Check if a patron has previously borrowed any items connected to a bib record (suitable for books, DVDs etc) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 20253] New: Optionally use buyer's purchase order number from Edifact quote in basketname
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Jul '26

17 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20253 Bug ID: 20253 Summary: Optionally use buyer's purchase order number from Edifact quote in basketname Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: colin.campbell(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Current default behaviour is to use the filename of the QUOTE in the basketname. This would instead use the buyer's purchase order number (segment RFF with a qualifier ON) instead so that this would be searchable. This should be optional as even when supplied many (most) sites do not have meaningful or distinctive data in the field (e.g. 'Books for branch X'). Logical is to add it as a vendor option -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 18410] New: Koha should use cool URIs
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 16 Jul '26

16 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18410 Bug ID: 18410 Summary: Koha should use cool URIs Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: pablo.bianchi(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Right now Koha use a very volatile URI scheme. If we seek having not ephemeral URIs they should be completely different. Take a look to this article from 1998 of a guy called Tim Berners-Lee: "Cool URIs don't change" https://www.w3.org/Provider/Style/URI A normal Koha URI looks like this: https://catalog.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumb… This URI is doomed to die in the short term, is not designed thinking in long-term. We have a lot of information about the tools and technical things used to put it there, like "cgi-bin", "koha" and "pl". Is not even consistent about using always en_US (american English): "/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/addbooks.pl" (cataloguing != cataloging). As the article say we shouldn't forget about domain name. We could encourage the use of more permanent words like "catalog" for the host part of the FQDN. PS: This may be related to the robust RESTful URI. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
