The system preference: OPACsuppression should be set to Hide. To allow for more user-friendly cataloging, an authorized Value of Suppressed was created, the two values- 1- Suppress, 0 - Don't Suppress. This authorized value was added to the default framework for the 943$n in Other Options. Now when a cataloger wants to suppress a record when cataloging, they can have a drop-down menu to choose Suppress or Don't Suppress (versus remembering 1/0). Although this does work in suppressing the record from the OPAC, and when looking at the Marc Preview, the 942$n has the value 1, the staff client does not display a notification that this record is indeed suppressed. It would be nice if this process worked as regular suppression works- where this dropdown authorized value can be used and the note is visible in the staff client. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Prior to 19.11, this report would report on 1 or more holds, if that was entered into the search box. BZ20434), missing fields/subfields are added but if subfields already existed in the framework, the script doesn't verifiy in which tab they existed and can add them in a different tab.So for the same field, you could have subfields in different tabs. This allows checking out items, where there is no barcode in the item (you still need a dummy barcode in Koha). At the moment the table of items to choose from will only chow the title and the dummy barcode. In order to make it more useful and easier to identify the correct item, we should show more information here: - callnumber (952$o) - serial enumeration (952$h) - copy number (952$t) - inventory number (952$i) Callnumber and inventory number might be visible on the item. The inventory number is usually written or stamped inside the book. Serial enumeration will be helpful for checking out serial issues without barcodes.
