The patch "Bug 22001: Set unsafe only if RaiseError is not set" proved that unsafe => 1 and RaiseError => 0 was wrong. We should move forward and turn RaiseError for the UI, and... see what's happening. The change goes to the right direction, but we need to know how big is the task to have a stable release with these parameters correctly set. There are certain pieces of information you may want when registering that you don't want a patron to modify online. For example, you will ask for the patron name when registering, but don't necessarily want them changing their names freely. Our library requires that they show an ID when they pick up their card after registration. If they legally change their name, they need to come in with an ID again to verify the change. I would suggest allowing the PatronSelfModificationBorrowerUnwantedField to have priority over the PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField settings. So, if a field is listed in PatronSelfModificationBorrowerUnwantedField, it should negate the same field listed in PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField. While it doesn't seem to happen at creation it does during an import To recreate: 1 - Check your DB select distinct login_attempts from borrowers; 2 - All should be 0 (if you have some nulls already, thats ok) 3 - Run a report and download as CSV (you may need to set the delimiter syspref to comma) select surname, cardnumber, categorycode, branchcode FROM borrowers 4 - Tools -> Import borrowers 5 - Set to match on cardnumber and overwrite patrons 6 - Check the DB after import select distinct login_attempts from borrowers; 7 - All login_attempts are NULL -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Some libraries would like to be able to have the library name as part of the email address ( e.g. "Your Library <us(a)library.org>" ). The problem is that this does not pass validation in the branches editor. We know this format works because some libraries set this email format before the syntax validation was implemented. If you add languages later on, you will always need to test and remember. This adds quite a bit of extra maintenance as there appears to be no fallback option. It would be nice if we could define that something should show for 'all languages' or as a 'fallback' if there is no other content for the language defined. With the possible addition of bug 22318 this list will grow quite long and might get harder to work with. I think this could be improved in different ways: 1) Only have the location in the pull down and then tabs for the different languages like we have for notices. That would also allow a quickly copy and paste between different versions to help with translating. 2) Break up the pull down into 2 pull downs: display location and language. 3) Group by content area first and then language below, so all entries of the same type are listed together. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
