UI Koha doesn't much bother about these kinds of errors, they just junk up the logs but Koha keeps going. Cron Koha is super noisy though, with errors like this. It occurred to me that it might be nice to have a "default" item type, just so we can assume that everything's got an item type and stop seeing these infernal messages. Maybe the one you set up in the onboarder should become the default, and allow people to pick the one they want to have as default from the UI later if they want? We'd only need it so that Koha knows what rules to apply to the item (among many other things that we depend upon itypes for). This would be a benefit/advantage for users who don't come into the physical branch but use curbside or electronic services. If Koha could look at borrowers.lastseen - last time a patron has been seen (connected at the OPAC or staff interface), this could be used as a way to identify that activity and renew the patron accordingly. In addition, if a library uses TrackLastPatronActivity the borrowers.lastseen date could also identify when a patron is using SIP-related connections. It would be great to have a system preference that would allow you to turn this function on or off for libraries who want patrons to come in to renew membership (ie show driver's license for mail verifying address). (see image) - Date published is corrected, irregularity is respected but name of month do not respect irregularities cheched on prediction pattern. Has anyone ever experienced this problem?
