Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to the koha/virtualshelves/shelves.pl; 2. Add new list or edit existing one; 3. Start adding new items; 4. In the "Barcode" field add barcode(s) with whitespaces before them; 5. Observe that it wasn't added as the barcode isn't recognized because of whitespaces. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 24239] New: Let the ILL module set ad hoc hard due dates
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Nov '22

28 Nov '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24239 Bug ID: 24239 Summary: Let the ILL module set ad hoc hard due dates Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: magnus(a)libriotech.no Reporter: magnus(a)libriotech.no Scenario: A member of staff has gotten an ILL loan with a date due 1 year into the future. The person handling the ILL request knows this, but needs a way to tell Koha to use the given hard due date when the loan is issued at the front desk, where noone knows about the special due date for this loan. The Swedish Libris ILL backend lets librarians store a specific due date when an ILL loan is received. This is stored as a ILL request attribute. This patch adds a syspref that can take the name of the illrequestattribute used to store the specific date. If the syspref is set, and if an item is connected to an ILL request, the due date will be taken from the illrequestattribute, instead of being calculated in the regular way, based on patroncategory and itemtype. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 26947] New: kohastrcuture.sql should be updated for each release
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Nov '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26947 Bug ID: 26947 Summary: kohastrcuture.sql should be updated for each release Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The kohastructure.sql was originally a dump fo the database schema. Over time, however, it has been manually updated by developers as the tables were altered. Currently the file is out of order, and the conventions for punctuation and formatting are not standard. For instance, some numbers are quoted, some tables names are in backticks, some foreign keys are listed as 'CONSTRAINT' and some aren't The advantage to regenerating the file is that then users can dump their db schema and easily diff it against the expected structure to see what might be missing. Many DB updates simply don't add a new constraint if the existing data violates this, and as we use more Koha Objects, these missing constraints cause issues. We can add a script to kohadevbox or the release tools to make it easy to generate the new file and can add as a step in the release process -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 27550] New: "Duplicate budget" does not keep users associated with that budget

Users are useful in particular to receive orders from a particular fund. Currently, this functionality retrieves only the owner and funds associated with a budget. This enhancement could be optionnal using a checkbox in the "duplicate budget" view to enable/disable the copy of user ? What do you think about it ? [Bug 31447] New: "Please confirm checkout" notice uses patrons home library not holds pick up library

It would be more logical to use latter here. To test: 1. Find record with holds. 2. For first priority hold, change it's pick up library to differ from patrons homebranch if needed. 3. Check out records item for a different patron. => Note that notice reads: "Item ... has been on hold for ... at [patrons homebranch] since ...". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
