Somehow these two sysprefs are not being enforced distinctly. To test: 1 - turn on OPACPatronDetails 2 - confirm PatronSelfModificationBorrowerUnwantedField is blank, all fields allowed 3 - set PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField to hide Title 4 - log into the opac, go to self mod (/cgi-bin/koha/opac-memberentry.pl), set a title (it is not hidden, which is correct), and save your updates 5 - go to the patron modification page in the staff interface (/cgi-bin/koha/members/members-update.pl), confirm your modification request is there but shows no changes 6 - update PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField to allow title 7 - repeat step 4 8 - your new modification request shows a change to title -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

However, the cronjob that sends the email (overdue notices) does follow the library's calendar. So as an example on a weekend where Monday is a holiday, the long over due may get set and chanrge the patrons account, but the email may be sent a day or 2 later. Setting this cronjob to run every hour will be set in the /etc/cron.hourly/koha-common. However 2 further changes to the automatic item modification tool to make an hourly running cronjob useful. 1. Be able to set the age of the item in hours not just days. This is so an hourly cronjob has items to alter because items will exceed the age limit more frequently than if the item age is in hours. 2. Give the user the choice of what the age starting point (time from which the age of the item is calculated) used in the cronjob is. We should also add the ability to charge a replacement fee. Many libraries do not charge a replacement fee when a claim is generated. If the item is not found within the time period allowed by library policy, then the item is assumed lost, the claim is resolved, and the item is set to lost. At that point, the library would like to charge the patron. As things stand, there is not a way to generate a lost fee tied to that issue_id. You'd have to either create a manual invoice or return the item, check it back out to the patron, and mark it lost again.
