[Bug 24820] New: The cashup workflow should use the static 'date' field rather than the transient 'timestamp' field in accountlines
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 27 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24820 Bug ID: 24820 Summary: The cashup workflow should use the static 'date' field rather than the transient 'timestamp' field in accountlines Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Fines and fees Assignee: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The 'cashup' process introduced in bug 23355 assumes that once set, the timestamp of an accountline is fixed. This assumption is incorrect as the timestamp is a 'last updated' time and as such is transient. We should be using the 'date' field for comparisons instead as this field is a fixed 'created on' record. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

If the user has permission, it would be helpful to include a link directly to new cash register creation. Also, the term "library" should be used instead of "branch." [Bug 30619] New: Add the option to email receipts as an alternative to printing

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30619 Bug ID: 30619 Summary: Add the option to email receipts as an alternative to printing Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Fines and fees Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org We have the 'UseEmailReceipts' preference, but we don't have any way for patrons to opt in/out of an email receipt at payment time or for anonymous payments in the point of sale system. It would be great to have a 'Email receipt' option wherever we display the option to 'Print receipt' with the ability to either use the borrowers primary notices address or, for the anonymous case, define an email address there and then for the receipt to be sent to. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 29987] New: Manual credits are not recorded for a register

[Bug 27290] New: Cash register allows for 'amount tendered' less than amount being paid
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 27 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27290 Bug ID: 27290 Summary: Cash register allows for 'amount tendered' less than amount being paid Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Fines and fees Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org It seems amount tendered is only used to calculate change - if there is a value for the change then there is a confirmation. If there isn't then the transaction simply goes through To test: 1 - Enable 'useCashRegisters' and 'EnablePointofSale' 2 - Add a cash register 3 - Add a debit type that can be sold 4 - Go to point of sale and sell the item multiple times 5 - Enter 'Amount tendered' less than amount being paid 6 - Click confirm 7 - Transaction is processed as if full funds received 8 - Try with a negative number - goes through again -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
