[Bug 36350] New: Add subclass of Koha::Objects that provides caching for find
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Aug '26

25 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36350 Bug ID: 36350 Summary: Add subclass of Koha::Objects that provides caching for find Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: glasklas(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org At our library we have traced some performance issues to repeated find calls for a number of object types. To address this patch introduces a subclass for Koha::Object that if extended instead of the former provides a cached version of find. This patch enables caching for ItemTypes and Libraries which I believe are called repeatedly for the same objects much than the others. Other possible candidates are Patrons and Items but will have to do some more digging to find out if it makes much a difference. It's easy to enable/disable by just switching out the base class for the Koha::Object and Koha::Objects derived classes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 38647] New: Can't filter holdings table by shelving location
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Aug '26

25 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38647 Bug ID: 38647 Summary: Can't filter holdings table by shelving location Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff interface Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: sbrown(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com In 24.05, libraries can no longer filter the holdings table in the staff interface by shelving location since the Home library column is now a drop-down instead of allowing free text entry. As of 23.11, the filtering was free text instead of a drop-down, which meant that libraries could type a library name *or* a shelving location to filter. Additionally, the holdings table search bar doesn't appear to 'read' shelving locations, so libraries can't use that to pinpoint items with a specific shelving location either. This will likely be moot with Bug 15461 - Add staff equivalent for OpacLocationOnDetail, but in the meantime, it isn't user-friendly for libraries who need that column to filter bibs with many holdings. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 34164] New: OAuth2/OIDC should redirect to page that initiated login
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34164 Bug ID: 34164 Summary: OAuth2/OIDC should redirect to page that initiated login Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Authentication Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: dcook(a)prosentient.com.au QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: dpavlin(a)rot13.org At the moment, a successful OAuth2/OIDC login is sent to opac-user.pl/opac-main.pl or mainpage.pl instead of the page that initiated the login process. With Shibboleth, we manage this using the "target" URL, so that the Shibboleth login is processed by whatever page initiated it, but that doesn't work with OAuth2/OIDC and the "redirect_uri" since we're using an API endpoint. However, all we need to do is save the current path in the user's session, and then recall it after the successful login. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 37831] New: Timezone ignored when passing rfc3339 formatted date
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37831 Bug ID: 37831 Summary: Timezone ignored when passing rfc3339 formatted date Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: REST API Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jonathan.druart(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com When requesting the REST API we are getting datetimes in the RFC3339 format, for instance: 2024-09-04T06:03:34-03:00 This is retrieving the value that is stored DB, and using the timezone defined in the $KOHA_CONF file. However this format is not correctly into account when we search or, more importantly, when we create/update objects. Examples (Using the Buenos Aires timezome, which is UTC-3 "America/Argentina/Buenos_Aires"): 1. POST /api/v1/patrons with "due_date": "2024-09-09T23:59:00-00:00", And you will get "due_date": "2024-09-09T23:59:00-03:00", in DB: date_due: 2024-09-09 23:59:00 2. GET /api/v1/jobs?q={"enqueued_on":{">":"2024-09-04T09:26:52-03:00"}} is generating the following query SELECT `me`.`id`, `me`.`status`, `me`.`progress`, `me`.`size`, `me`.`borrowernumber`, `me`.`type`, `me`.`queue`, `me`.`data`, `me`.`context`, `me`.`enqueued_on`, `me`.`started_on`, `me`.`ended_on` FROM `background_jobs` `me` WHERE `enqueued_on` > '2024-09-04T09:26:52-03:00' But when you run it manually, you get a warning: | Warning | 1292 | Truncated incorrect datetime value: '2024-09-04T09:26:52-03:00' | -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
