The error message "Something went wrong: Error: Authorization failure. Missing required permission(s)." appears. The patron would need the manage_additional_fields permissions, otherwise the API blocks the request. But the manage_additional_fields permissions should not be necessary as it is for administation. To recreate: 1. Log in as superlibrarian 2. Activate ERM 3. Add a new additional field for Licences under cgi-bin/koha/admin/additional-fields.pl 4. Go to ERM Module 5. Add a Licence and use the new additional field 6. Search for a user, for example borrowernumber=17 7. Give permissions for erm , acquisition and catalogue (staff access) 8. Log in with this account 9. Go to ERM Module 10. Here at Collecto, we have an "in house" development created by InLibro that we call set aside. The idea is the same as to what bookings offers, but one main difference is that with our set asides, we have a page, accessible from the Circulation module, that presents a interactive calendar. You can use the calendar to choose a day and a time and clic on the period to place the "booking". On the record's page, a button is shown to set aside the document, but Koha returns us to the calendar page. On this page, a list of all the bookable items is shown, so we can choose the right items for the booking. The items are identified as bookable by a subfield M added to the 952 field. If that field is added, the item is shown in the list on the set aside page. >From the set aside page, we are also able to book multiple items for a single patron. However, nothing in the interface indicates when the bibliographic level hold will require an override. To recreate: - Have AllowHoldPolicyOverride set to Don't Allow - Have a bib record with just one item - confirm you can place a hold on either the biblio or the item - edit your item such that it become unholdable (mark it Not For Loan or something) - confirm that you cannot place a hold on either the biblio or the item - set AllowHoldPolicyOverride to Allow - confirm that Koha shows an alert on the item indicating that the hold will require an override - confirm that Koha does not indicate the bibliographic level hold will require an override Bug 33573 restored these alerts for items. I don't recall if we've ever had these alerts for biblios. The topic of end-of-year processing has come up regularly in the koha-us Acquisitions SIG. Librarians would like to have a way to order things for the next year when still in the current year and have the items showing up on the next year's budget. Example: our library has a fiscal year that goes from Oct 1 to Sept 30. A popular book will release October 15. We want to order the book in August. We would like to have the item ordered on the new fiscal year starting October. How do we do that? I have attached a Word document that more fully explains the issue and I have suggested a solution that I think will work for both EDI and non-EDI vendors.
