[Bug 34868] New: Add ability for SIP2 to distinguish missing item from other lost types
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34868 Bug ID: 34868 Summary: Add ability for SIP2 to distinguish missing item from other lost types Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: SIP2 Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The SIP circulation status specifies that a 12 means an item is lost, and 13 means an item is missing. In Koha, missing items are simply a type of lost item so we never send a 13. This is an important distinction for some SIP based inventory tools. It would be good to be able to specify when lost status means "missing" at the SIP login level. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. That is my fault due to Bug 36507. -There is an extra step after changing your branch/desk/register where you need to confirm, before being redirected. This is new behavior and unnecessary. [Bug 35354] New: Update language in System Preference EmailLibrarianWhenHoldisPlaced
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35354 Bug ID: 35354 Summary: Update language in System Preference EmailLibrarianWhenHoldisPlaced Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Documentation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kelly(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The system preference, emaillibrarianwhenholdisplaced, states, "sending an email to the Koha administrator email address whenever a hold request is placed". However, this will be sent to the library's email address if they are set up in Libraries . The fact that Koha says the email gets sent out to the Koha Admin Email would not be helpful for multi-site libraries within Koha. With more in the system preference, libraries could know more about how this will work for their set up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. But in the "on site" Koha we don't have this option. Wchich can save a lot of time when we have long and precise searches to do allowing to refine the criterias rather than enter all of them again.
