Verify there is message with the title "Purchase suggestion accepted" - Now edit the purchase suggestion again, without changing the status - Check the messages of the patron again, and verify there are now to "Purchase suggestion accepted" messages The standard ACCEPTED message reads: Dear koha, You have suggested that the library acquire Test by Johan Theorin. The library has reviewed your suggestion today. The item will be ordered as soon as possible. You will be notified by mail when the order is completed, and again when the item arrives at the library. If you have any questions, please email us at . Thank you, Centerville It might be possible to phrase this another way, so it makes sense to send it out multiple times for the same suggestion even if the status is not changed, but in general I think it will be confusing to generate identical messages for the same suggestion. The suggested fix is to only send messages when the status is changed. Perhaps there are libraries that depend on the current functionality, so we might need a syspref like SuggestionsOnlySendMessagesOnChangedStatus that defaults to off, to keep the current behaviour. The problem is, that while this can be used to translate the message, it doesn't provide true multi-language support. It's very common to provide the GUI on the self checks in mulitple languages here, so there is a need for translating the errors etc. sent by Koha as well. The SIP specification provides means to send a language code that would allow us to implement this properly. Currently, when you go to look at notices and slips, you see absolutely everything (All libraries). And when you select a library, you see only notices and slips that are specific to that library. I'm wondering if this would be a better model: Initial view is just the default notices and slips (to all libraries), and not including those specific to a library. If you select a library, you see that library's specific custom slips, and you see in gray or blue or some other color, all the other default slips that are not customized. Next to which is a button to create a duplicate of that notice or slip for that library. When you click it, it duplicates that notice/slip for that library, and it shows in the same format/color as the other custom notices/slips for that library. Custom notices/slips would have a button next to them that would allow you to delete. If you click that, after a confirmation, the custom slip would be deleted, and the page would update, with that notice/slip now showing as the default instead of custom. Defaults would not be editable from with the view of a specific library. You would have to select the defaults view again to edit those.
