[Bug 40445] New: Point of Sale reconciliation input during daily summaries
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 06 Nov '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40445 Bug ID: 40445 Summary: Point of Sale reconciliation input during daily summaries Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Point of Sale Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: hdunne-howrie(a)westminster.gov.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk We use a separate spreadsheet for our daily reconciliation of income taken which uses the cash register summaries. It occurs to me that this process can be streamlined by allowing an input stage to the summaries process so staff interaction with summaries is not the cashing up to package the transactions into a summary (we want the daily summaries to happen automatically) we want the staff input to be to add in (against totals for payment type and cash register) the amount of what was actually taken using the z reports and physical cash, i.e. a reconciliation stage so it will be easy for staff to see if the money is 'out' and then a process to reconciliate with a way to add in a note for the summary they are signing off with an perhaps a way for them to then 'balance the books' to account for the discrepancy. We would then need this staff input on the summaries (the physical amount taken and any notes) to be stored in a table, somewhere logical, so we can then report on this and create a way in which library managers can check in on this if needed and audit. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 38345] New: Remove support for OpenSearch
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 06 Nov '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38345 Bug ID: 38345 Summary: Remove support for OpenSearch Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching - Elasticsearch Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Truth is our test suite has been exploding consistently when trying to launch OpenSearch: * https://jenkins.koha-community.org/job/Koha_Main_OS2/ * https://jenkins.koha-community.org/job/Koha_Main_OS1/ This has some precedent discussion on [issue 429](https://gitlab.com/koha-community/koha-testing-docker/-/issues/429) in `KTD` project issues. We are not going to remove it, I guess. But some noise is needed as people using OpenSearch in production don't seem to care we are not being able to run the test suite, so probably promising some 'OpenSearch support' that we cannot guarantee in any way. And if there's a problem with OpenSearch, we (devs) cannot launch a working environment to fix/test. My two cents on this matter. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 39538] New: Replace UserCSS system preference with snippets
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Nov '26

05 Nov '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39538 Bug ID: 39538 Summary: Replace UserCSS system preference with snippets Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Currently the UserCSS's are just a big blob of CSS with each piece unrelated to the next. It would be nice if we replaced the system preference with individual "snippets". These could live somewhere like HTML customizations. This would bring more organization to CSS customization. It could also allow staff to see how created/edited/deleted certain blocks much easier. It could also make it easier to incorporate different permission checks for who can create/edit/delete CSS Similar to Bug 38706. This could also be helpful for adding CSS to Mana eventually? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 38804] New: erm : JSTOR usage data not harvestable via SUSHI

JSTOR uses reporting queuing so if data is not yet available, clients will need to re-request the report at a later date." and in JSTOR site : https://support.jstor.org/hc/en-us/articles/360015483214-SUSHI-reports-COUN… "Please wait at least one (1) hour between report requests to allow time for report files to be generated." I suppose other data provider may have the same policy. For Koha to be able to harvest them, it should be necessary to add an option to relaunch the harvesting process after a parametrable delay -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 27248] New: Allow to use list of barcodes/itemnumbers with Batch extend due dates tool
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Nov '26

05 Nov '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27248 Bug ID: 27248 Summary: Allow to use list of barcodes/itemnumbers with Batch extend due dates tool Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In some cases libraries want to use some more complicated criteria for selecting the items that they want to extend the due dates for. For these cases it would be great if SQL reports could be used to make a list that then can be uploaded to the tool, similar to how we manage other batch operations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 30557] New: Add ability to create Item lists
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Nov '26

05 Nov '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30557 Bug ID: 30557 Summary: Add ability to create Item lists Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 21.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Lists Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: estherm(a)sodaspringsid.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl This is relevant for multi-branch installations. Lists currently appear to be primarily bibliographic lists. This creates a problem when sorting lists by call number. In this scenario there may be multiple items from different libraries using different call number schema attached to a single bibliographic record. The list cannot be sorted accurately by call number. It would be helpful if there was an option for an item based list. In this scenario items are added to a list for a specific branch. The call number sort will then sort correctly because the call number schema will be consistent for the branch. An item list would display the same information as a bibliographic list with the exception of additional branches which may also have the item. A typical use case would a library creating an item list, sort by call number, and then use that list to go to the shelf to pull the items in order. This is currently not possible in a multi-branch installation without a bit of work. It would require downloading the list and then cleaning up the list to be useful for this kind of work. It may be possible to create a report that will do this, but it would be a nice added functionality in the List tool. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
