[Bug 40658] New: When sorting by local-number we should use the sort field
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40658 Bug ID: 40658 Summary: When sorting by local-number we should use the sort field Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching - Elasticsearch Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When adding 'local-number' as a fallback sort I explicitly added sorting on 'local-number' - it should be 'local-number__sort' This avoids problems when mappings may be older and local-number itself is indexed as a string and not a number -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 33756] New: Wrong calculation of total amount spent?

C4::Acquisition::get_rounding_sql(qq|COALESCE(unitprice_tax_included, ecost_tax_included)|) . q| * quantity ) AS budget_spent FROM aqorders JOIN aqbudgets USING (budget_id) WHERE quantityreceived > 0 AND datecancellationprinted IS NULL GROUP BY budget_id, budget_parent_id |, 'budget_id'); If the amount is spent, I feel multiplying by quantity is incorrect. It should be quantityreceived. I am not sure yet where this is used and how it manifests. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 33668] New: Add a 'clear search' button/icon inside the search input box on the OPAC
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Aug '26

04 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33668 Bug ID: 33668 Summary: Add a 'clear search' button/icon inside the search input box on the OPAC Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: barbara.johnson(a)bedfordtx.gov QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org It would be nice to have the option of a 'clear search' button/icon in the OPAC search box so users could quickly clear out text they have input instead of having to put their cursor in the search box and backspace or highlight the text and delete it. This is a common feature of many search boxes, such as in Chrome and Firefox. The clear search feature (typically and 'x' or an 'x' in a circle) would only display when the search box contains text that could be cleared. I added a mockup of what I'm referring to. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 18450] New: Renew in header bypasses hold block and renewal limits

It also bypasses renewal limits set in Circulation Rules. Does not honor AllowRenewalLimitOverride preference if set to Don't allow. [Bug 33200] New: IndependentBranchesTransfers does not prevent holds from creating transfers
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Aug '26

04 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33200 Bug ID: 33200 Summary: IndependentBranchesTransfers does not prevent holds from creating transfers Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: caroline.cyr-la-rose(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com I noticed that when you have IndependentBranches (Yes), IndependentBranchesTransfers (Yes), and canreservefromotherbranches (Don't allow), holds can still trigger transfers. This is probably larger than transfers as holds should not be placed on items from other libraries with IndependentBranches, even if we choose "next available item". IndependentBranches/canreservefromotherbranches should imply "next available item (from this branch)". To reproduce, you must have - IndependentBranches, IndependentBranchesPatronModifications and IndependentBranchesTransfers preferences set to Yes - canreservefromotherbranches must be set to Don't allow - Circulation rules that allow holds and checkouts - Two libraries (I used Midway (A) and Centerville (B)) - A record with two items, one at each library, with barcodes, check out the one from library A - Two non-superlibrarian staff user, one in each library, with at least catalogue and holds permissions, this is what I gave them - circulate (all) - catalogue - delete_borrowers - edit_borrowers - reserveforothers (all) 1. Log in to the staff interface with the non-superlibrarian staff user from library A 2. Go to the record with the two items, click "Place hold" 3. Place a hold for a user, without changing anything (should be for "next available item") 4. Log out and log back in with the non-superlibrarian staff user from library B 5. Check in the item from library B, which should be available --> Hold is confirmed for patron from library A, transfer is created 6. Optionally, you can log out and log back in as staff from library A 7. Go to Circulation > Transfers to receive (should this even be available with IndependentBranchesTransfers turned on?) --> Item from other branch is there -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 18623] New: Send notification on creation of manual invoice
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Aug '26

04 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18623 Bug ID: 18623 Summary: Send notification on creation of manual invoice Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Notices Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lisetteslatah(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org It would be nice if when adding a manual invoice (say for a damaged item) an e-mail notification could be sent. Currently to tell the patron without them logging into the OPAC or coming into the library we have to send the e-mail manually. This is time consuming if we have a lot of damaged items being processed at once. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 31114] New: OpacHiddenItems is not respected in search results when an OPAC search is filtered by branch

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=31114 Bug ID: 31114 Summary: OpacHiddenItems is not respected in search results when an OPAC search is filtered by branch Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 21.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: lucy.vaux-harvey(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When filtering OPAC searches by library (OpacAddMastheadLibraryPulldown enabled) the search results will include title records where all items for that library are hidden from the OPAC due to the values in OpacHiddenItems. When clicking through to the detailed view of an affected record the copies are correctly hidden in the holdings table but it is confusing for the library customer to find the title in the search results. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
