We should now be able to remove the untested and non-object-oriented method from C4::Biblio. It would also be nice to start working toward merging UseControlNumber and EasyAnalytics and thus also remove the very similar C4::Biblio::PrepareMarcHost() method. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 40034] New: CheckReserves dies if itype doesn't exist

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40034 Bug ID: 40034 Summary: CheckReserves dies if itype doesn't exist Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Filing like this becauseI'm not sure how tackle this. I feel tempted to just propose making item types a real FK. In the meantime, this line explodes if the item type doesn't exist on the DB: ```perl if ($item_type) { return if Koha::ItemTypes->find($item_type)->notforloan; } ``` -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 40245] New: Support option to display firstname in memberresultst

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40245 Bug ID: 40245 Summary: Support option to display firstname in memberresultst Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: Chip.Halvorsen(a)WestlakeLibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Circulation staff would find it very useful to see firstname in addition to preferred_name in the patron search results table (memberresultst). Currently at 24.11+, only the preferred name is displayed. One way to handle this might be to add firstname as a line at between address and email address. SMITH, KAT 123 MAIN ST. ANYTOWN, STATE/PROVINCE POSTCODE Firstname: KATELYNN Email: X(a)Y.Z Or we might want to put the firstname in parenthesis. SMITH, KAT (Firstname: KATELYNN) 123 MAIN ST. ANYTOWN, STATE/PROVINCE POSTCODE Email: X(a)Y.Z Having the firstname appear somewhere would help disambiguate similar patron names in the search results. Even better would be logic that only displayed the Firstname when it differs from the Preferred_name. This should be made optional. Some libraries might not want firstname to appear here, to avoid accidentally deadnaming a patron. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 30614] New: check-url-quick gives false error 404

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30614 Bug ID: 30614 Summary: check-url-quick gives false error 404 Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 20.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: marjorie.barry-vila(a)collecto.ca QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Hi, Many 404 errors come out after running the check-quick-url script while the urls are correct when checked manually. Apparently this is because the script uses HTTP HEAD instead of HTTP GET. HTTP HEAD returns only the headers of the urls and the header can return an error but the url is accessible when you do a GET. Is there a reason for this? My fellow analyst was pointing to line 104 of https://github.com/Koha-Community/Koha/blob/master/misc/cronjobs/check-url-… Thank you Marjorie -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
