Over the next renewal, you will have to set it again which is very tedious. We should be able to configure this in the long run (as it was possible in previous version of Koha before 3.14, I think) Olivier Crouzet -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 38051] New: An item bundle cannot be returned without verifying the contents if the item bundle is not on loan
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38051 Bug ID: 38051 Summary: An item bundle cannot be returned without verifying the contents if the item bundle is not on loan Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tuomas.kunttu(a)kouvola.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com In the bug 31615 a feature has been implemented that allows checkin of item bundles without verifying their contents. However, this only works when the item bundle is on loan. When the items bundle is not on loan, this option is not available at checkin. If an item bundle is reserved to another library, it must first checkin at the home library so that it enters transit mode, and then checkin again at the reservation pickup library. In both of these checkins, the entire content of the item bundle must be verified by checkin, and there is no option to bypass it. However, when an item bundle is checked-in from a loan, where there is a real need for verifying, the content check can be bypassed. It would be better if item bundles could be checked-in without mandatory content verifying, even when item bundles are not on loan. Test 1: 1. Create an item bundle 2. Checkout this bundle, then checkin it. The "bundle verification" modal should appear 3. There are 3 options: Confirm checkin and mark missing items as lost Confirm checkin without verifying bundle contents Cancel Test 2: 1. Create an item bundle 2. Checkin it. The "bundle verification" modal should appear 3. There are 2 options: Confirm inventory check and mark items as lost Cancel 4. You need to return all items individually, otherwise the items will be marked as lost It works in the same way if there's a reservation to another library and you must return item bundle (and all items in it) first at homelibrary and later at pick-up library before bundle goes to a borrower. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 27248] New: Allow to use list of barcodes/itemnumbers with Batch extend due dates tool
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27248 Bug ID: 27248 Summary: Allow to use list of barcodes/itemnumbers with Batch extend due dates tool Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In some cases libraries want to use some more complicated criteria for selecting the items that they want to extend the due dates for. For these cases it would be great if SQL reports could be used to make a list that then can be uploaded to the tool, similar to how we manage other batch operations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 32328] New: Add ability to specify how long an item stays on a library's holds queue
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=32328 Bug ID: 32328 Summary: Add ability to specify how long an item stays on a library's holds queue Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bwsdonna(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com With multi-location libraries that are open varying hours, it would be helpful to be able to specify how long an item appears on a library's hold queue before the item appears on another location's queue. For example, Title A is available at both Library D and Library E. The patron wants to pickup the item at Library D. Library D is closed Saturday and Sunday, but Library E is not. Currently, the item could potentially show on Library E's hold queue. Since it takes three days of transit time to move the item from Library E to Library D, it would be faster to fill the hold from Library D, but because it was moved off Library D's queue, it won't be filled there. It would be nice to be able to specify by Library how long an item will appear on the holds queue for that library before it is moved, and the item is sent from another library. Using Holds Queue Skip Closed (and the other associated sys prefs) does not address this sufficiently. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 30328] New: Add ability to generate barcode with branch specific prefix

For this we need to add new barcode option to syspref "autobarcode" and new systempreference where prefixes are set. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 35288] New: ApplyFrameworkDefaults add plugin to add more fine grained defaults handling

[Bug 34671] New: Collapsing fields in patron form allows saving without mandatory fields
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34671 Bug ID: 34671 Summary: Collapsing fields in patron form allows saving without mandatory fields Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: emmi.takkinen(a)koha-suomi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com We've had cases where user has been able to save patron without address. It turned out that if one collapses patron entry fields validating those fields no longer works even if they are marked as mandatory. To reproduce: 1. Make sure you have "Main address" fields set as mandatory with BorrowerMandatoryField syspref (address, city, zipcode) 2. Add new patron, fill in some info, but leave "Main address" fields empty. 3. Attempt to save. => "This field is mandatory" should be displayed next to the address fields. 4. Collapse "Main address" section. 5. Attempt to save again. => Patron is saved successfully without address information. I'm using address section as an example here, but this happens with every other fields as well. I was able to save patron without surname and date of birth this way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 18064] New: Long overdue cronjob does not follow the library' s calendar and skip closed days

However, the cronjob that sends the email (overdue notices) does follow the library's calendar. So as an example on a weekend where Monday is a holiday, the long over due may get set and chanrge the patrons account, but the email may be sent a day or 2 later. It would be good to allow the long overdue cron to follow the library calendar and skip closed days. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
