The cells are vertically aligned to middle, which makes it easy to be fooled that what's above MARC field label belongs to the field above (see attachment, would you realize under 010, the second _a belongs to 024 instead?). This affects both: - catalogue/showmarc.pl - koha/opac-showmarc.pl Fix: remove inline style on `<th style="white-space:nowrap">` add style block: ```css th { white-space: nowrap; vertical-align: top; } ``` Adding borders was considered and deemed unfavorable. Particularly with the templates (notices and slips) regarding tables in report templates. Everything looks great on screen, just the way I plan it, then when you get to the print preview and printing, the print stylesheet takes over. This is extremely troubling when you are working hard to style something for print. In framework structure, barcode.pl plugin is called in the item barcode field. I am editing a serial (Create an item record when receiving this serial is set), change the status to "Arrived", automatically create a barcode by clicking on barcode box, then create a supplemental issue (before to save). The automatic barcode for this supplemental issue is equal to the regular issue above. If a patron places a hold in the OPAC, it would be nice that a hold slip is auto printed. Another option would be to add an optional notification in the staff interface home screen that says something like "pending holds" with a print button to print the hold slips. "Pending holds" would have to be updated in real time to provide ultimate functionality.
