Some libraries would like to be able to prevent staff from changing items to those status manually. We would like to see this option for the catalogue search results via staff interface. This has been requested by our staff as while they like the options to see images of the books and more information, it means they can then see less books appear in results which can be annoying/time consuming. We would like to see a version of the summary in POS that should the cash register as a column in the summary (as opposed to different summaries for each cash register) so staff can see all takings for a given period for their site. For example, one of our libraries have four kiosks and three tills. These means they have look at seven different summaries to find all of the transactions each day. This can lead to delete suggestions on an ongoing order (status ORDERED) or suggestions that have been accepted but not ordered yet (status ACCEPTED).
