https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35931 Bug ID: 35931 Summary: More preselected items in the renew column on details page and on checkout page Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: reetta.pihlaja(a)siilinjarvi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com When viewing and renewing patron's checkouts on details page or on checkout page, only the items with past due dates are preselected as a default in the renew column. Would it be possible to preselect also the items with current due dates here, as a default? This would help a lot at the customer service. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 40420] New: Add Patron API call should respect mandatory borrower fields
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Aug '25

28 Aug '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40420 Bug ID: 40420 Summary: Add Patron API call should respect mandatory borrower fields Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: REST API Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com When creating a patron via the API, the call will fail when missing the values required by the API itself (surname, library, category) and if it's missing a patron attribute that's marked as mandatory for the staff interface (see bug 40220). However, the API call succeeds and makes a patron when missing values defined as mandatory in either BorrowerMandatoryField or PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField. To recreate: 1: set BorrowerMandatoryField to include surname, library, category and anything else. I used phonepro (secondary phone) 2: use Postman or similar to add a patron, sending only surname, library, and category 3: confirm your patron is created without the required secondary phone (or whatever you used) 4: set PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField to match BorrowerMandatoryField 5: repeat steps 2 and 3 Following discussion on other bugs, I think we have an open question whether this should follow BorrowerMandatoryField or PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerMandatoryField or a new third option of APIBorrowerMandatoryField. But it should follow something. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30598 Bug ID: 30598 Summary: Replacement cost is not copied from retail price when ordering from file Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: caroline.cyr-la-rose(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In acquisitions, when you order an individual title, and you enter the "vendor price", it is copied in the retail price, the replacement cost, and the budgeted cost. However, if you order from a file, when you enter the price, the replacement price field stays empty. To test : 1- In Acquisitions, create a basket 2- Add an order from a new (empty) record --> Note that when you enter the "vendor price", it is copied in the "replacement cost" field 3- Add an order from a new file --> Note that when you enter the "price", the "replacement price" field stays empty This means you have to enter the price twice for each item ordered. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 31694] New: MARC overlay rules presets don't change anything if presets are translated
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Aug '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=31694 Bug ID: 31694 Summary: MARC overlay rules presets don't change anything if presets are translated Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: System Administration Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: caroline.cyr-la-rose(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com In MARC overlay rules, if the preset names are not in English, the settings don't change. Example 1. In staff interface in English, go to Administration > MARC overlay rules 2. In the 'Preset' column, try the different options. Notice the Added, Appended, Removed, Deleted settings change according to the preset you chose 3. Change interface in another language (I tried fr-CA and de-DE) 4. Try the presets again. Note that if the preset name is in English (some in fr-CA are not translated), the settings change, but if the preset name is translated, nothing changes -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. According to the MARC21 standard (https://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd520.html) there should not be a label before the content of the field if ind1 = 8 (no display constant). Currently, if ind1 = 8, it shows 'Summary'. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 29191] New: Linking biblio headings to authorities doesn't work with subdivisoins
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Aug '25

28 Aug '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29191 Bug ID: 29191 Summary: Linking biblio headings to authorities doesn't work with subdivisoins Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: alex.arnaud(a)biblibre.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Linking biblio headings to authorities fails if there is subdivision(s) to search. Test plan (Unimarc example): - AutoCreateAuthorities On - BiblioAddsAuthorities On - add a subject in a biblio: 606 $aArt $xHistory => new authority is created - reindex authorities if Zebra search engine - add same subject in an other biblio: 606 $aArt $xHistory => again, a new authority is created Heading helper adds the subdiviion name in the search term. So the entire search query for mathing authorities is "Art generalsubdiv History" I'm looking for a fix, but i need someone to explain me why we add something which is similar to metada in the search term. This is done both for MARC21 and UNIMARC in C4::Heading::UNIMARC::_get_search_heading and C4::Heading::MARC21::_get_search_heading -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. If you check in a waiting hold, it is supposed to pop up with the hold modal and let you know it is already waiting, and give you the option to confirm again or cancel the hold. On 24.11, it just records a local use. This ain't good! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 40091] New: When cataloging, search authorities by heading and then subdivision

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40091 Bug ID: 40091 Summary: When cataloging, search authorities by heading and then subdivision Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl When creating a bib record, the modal for selecting an authority record assumes one will perform one search for a combination of heading and subdivision. This can be cumbersome for libraries with a lot of very specific subject authorities. It would be helpful to be able to search for and select from only distinct main heading values from the $a and then browse/search within only the subdivisions that can be used in conjunction with the heading selected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
