[Bug 40626] New: Edit button in item holdings table on bib details page should offer the same options as on Manage Items
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40626 Bug ID: 40626 Summary: Edit button in item holdings table on bib details page should offer the same options as on Manage Items Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl On the bib details page (/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl) each item has an Edit button in the holdings table. On the Manage Items page (/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/additem.pl) each item gets an Actions button that allows the choice of Edit, Duplicate, Print label, Delete, and OPAC view. If you enable LocalCoverImages, the bib details Edit button gets an added side-option allowing selection of Upload Image with 2 clicks (Edit still only takes 1 click). One cannot add an item-level cover from the manage items page. It would be preferable if these two buttons were identical, with each being the sort of two-part button we see on bib-detail when LocalCoverImages is enabled. The button should select Edit when clicked normally, but also allow a click for additional options Duplicate, Print label, Delete, and OPAC view. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. Now we would like to tidy all the remaining script tags. We will certainly need a comment in the code to flag the script tag that is used to interpolate TT variables into JS variable. ``` <script> // Accept TT tags here let js_variable = [% perl_variable %]; </script> <script> // Here TT tags are prohibided, and ideally the code must be moved to a separate .js file // And we can reuse js_variable </script> ``` Referenced Bugs: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41324 [Bug 41324] Tidy kohaTable block -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 34210] New: ISSUEQSLIP should offer checkout session items only
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34210 Bug ID: 34210 Summary: ISSUEQSLIP should offer checkout session items only Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Koha needs to have some mechanism in place to track items a patron checked out in a particular session (this information clears every time a new patron is loaded. Maybe linked to when the last patron button is updated). It would then be helpful in being creating some kind of mechanism so that ISSUEQSLIP could print just the items you just checked out rather than everything today, or everything currently checked out altogether. I can narrow down something close to this session with some template toolkit and time logic, but that is rather complicated for some libraries, and isn't foolproof. It would be preferred if Koha kept track of checkout sessions and offered an easy to implement option in the slip template. This is very needed and common. You don't go the grocery store and get a receipt for everything you bought that day. Just for that transaction. This would line up with current practices. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

It's pretty trivial to exclude them from a DUE or PREDUE with TT but the digest ones are not as easy. [Bug 34121] New: Improve performance of Koha::Plugins::call

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34121 Bug ID: 34121 Summary: Improve performance of Koha::Plugins::call Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Plugin architecture Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Koha::Plugins::call() uses get_enabled_plugins to get all enabled plugins, including plugins that do not have the method to be called. In addition, get_enabled_plugins uses can_load to evaluate plugis, but call already uses eval to call methods making the use of can_load and $plugin_class->new() superfluous and wasteful. We should filter out all enabled plugins that do not match the plugin method being called and allow the eval in call() to handle plugin error handling. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 38384] New: General fix for plugins breaking database transactions

[Bug 20732] New: Display the note tab for records without items.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20732 Bug ID: 20732 Summary: Display the note tab for records without items. Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: patrick.robitaille(a)collecto.ca QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Hi, when we have a record who have no items, it would be great to displays the note tab first instead of holdings. It would be useful for the records of electronic resources who don't have items. Having the notes tab put forward would avoid one more click for relevant information. It could be a system preference like opacSerialDefaultTab but for the records without items. Thanks, Patrick. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
