At a minimum, it should show the item number or barcode so that libraries know which items need attention. This was translatable in 24.05, but several of our clients noticed it was not translated in 25.05 when we upgraded them. I cannot find the string in Weblate for this. The code changed in 25.05 with bug 33430. To recreate: 1. Add another language to Koha ./misc/translator/translate install fr-CA 2. Enable the new language in StaffInterfaceLanguages 2.1. Go to Administration > System preferences 2.2. Search for StaffInterfaceLanguages 2.3. Check the new language 2.4. Click Save all I18N/L10N preferences 3. Create a new purchase suggestion 3.1. Go to More > Suggestions 3.2. Click New purchase suggestion 3.3. Fill out the title AND the author at least 3.4. Click Submit your suggestion 4. View the suggestion in the table --> It says title, by author 5. Switch language --> The ", by" is still in English 6. This violates WCAG 1. 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (Level A) because a screen reader can't announce the purpose of the link. Some are using patron self registration, others do not. Now when cleanup_database.pl is run, we get a warning in the logs: Self-registrations cannot be removed, system preference PatronSelfRegistrationDefaultCategory is not set This is unnecessary, as for the libraries in question PatronSelfRegistration is OFF and PatronSelfRegistrationExpireTemporaryAccountsDelay is set to 0. The pref description says: NOTE: This system preference requires the misc/cronjobs/cleanup_database.pl cronjob. Ask your system administrator to schedule it. No patrons will be deleted if you set the pref to zero or make it empty. So we are telling the script, it's OK, we don't want any deleted, and still get the noisy warning. This is unnecessary. The warning should only be given when PatronSelfRegistrationExpireTemporaryAccountsDelay is not empty or 0 and the PatronSelfRegistrationDefaultCategory is empty at the same time.
