However, if the main author is a corporate body or a meeting/conference (MARC 21 fields 110/111), the information is not shown. To reproduce: 1. Enable the display of identifiers in OPACAuthorIdentifiersAndInformation. 2. Add a 024 field with a VIAF ID to any corporate authority record, e.g.: 024 7# $a 1234 $2 viaf 3. Use this authority heading as the main entry (110 or 111) in any bibliographic record. 4. In the OPAC view of that bibliographic record, verify that the Author information tab does not display information from the main entry. 5. Use the same heading as an added entry (710 or 711). The message is below the comparison boxes in yellow. The warning is not a strong enough visual cue to warn the user. It would be helpful to move the warning above the comparison boxes and change the warning to red text in bold or something much visually stronger. This causes issues especially when the background job fails, for example in batch item record deletion. Trying to solve which items have been worked with, you need to use several different reports. That means a lot of work hours, especially if, for example, the failed background job contains a lot of deleted items. My proposition is, that the background job -list would show which items were handled in the background whether it has failed or not. It would also be helpful if it showed information why it has failed/which item has caused the failure. It would standardize the information/notification system with the other batch processing jobs which list the things that have been worked on. To test: 1. Go to Administration and click Manage Jobs. 2. Select Status as "Failed" and Type "Batch item record deletion". 3. Open a failed background job. 4. Steps to reproduce: 1. Log in to staff interface 2. In the top search bar, select "Patrons search" and type "a b c d e f g h i j k l m" and submit the form 3. The patrons table should fail to load with a message like this: "Something went wrong when loading the table. 414: Request-URI Too Long.". If the table loads successfully, try adding a few more letters (separated by space) to the search. Another error that can happen is a 5XX error caused by the length of Link headers. For me, with Apache, the problem happens around 8k characters (after encoding). IMO it would be better to send only parameters like 'search', 'search_type' and 'search_field' to the API and translate this to DBIC dialect on the backend.
