https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30144 Bug ID: 30144 Summary: Add support for EDI GIR:LVT, Servicing instructions, segment Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org We allow for free text instructions in the EDI FTX segment now, taken from the vendor notes field. But this is at the order level, it would be helpful to add support for the LVT segment at the line level. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 38990] New: Statistical patron checkouts don't display alert that LOST value has been cleared

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38990 Bug ID: 38990 Summary: Statistical patron checkouts don't display alert that LOST value has been cleared Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: catrina(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Bug 37505 resolved getting information about items when checking them out to statistical patrons, however lost values (aside from Claims) do not alert or display that it has been resolved when checked out to the statistical patron as of 24.05.06. To test: 1. Create a Statistical Patron 2. Set BlockReturnOfLostItems to Don't Block. 3. Mark an item as missing. 4. Check it out to the Statistical Patron. 5. You get a message "Local use recorded." <- You should see a message, "Item was lost, but has now been found." 6. Check your item - the lost value has been cleared and is now available. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 41718] New: draw_guide_grid() passes incorrect arguments to PDF methods, causing warnings.
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Sep '26

11 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41718 Bug ID: 41718 Summary: draw_guide_grid() passes incorrect arguments to PDF methods, causing warnings. Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Label/patron card printing Assignee: chris.nighswonger(a)veritassuperaitsolutions.com Reporter: chris.nighswonger(a)veritassuperaitsolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Patroncard.pm:219-221: $pdf->Font('Courier'); $pdf->FontSize($font_size); my $strtop_len = $pdf->StrWidth($strtop) * 1.5; There are actually two underlying bugs here: Bug 1 (line 219): Uses hardcoded 'Courier' font name. This may not match a TTF config entry, and the fallback to prFont('Courier') may not work as expected. Bug 2 (line 221): Calls $pdf->StrWidth($strtop) with only one argument, but StrWidth() in PDF.pm expects ($string, $font, $fontSize): # PDF.pm:411 my ( $string, $font, $fontSize ) = @_; $font = C4::Creators::PDF->Font($font); # $font is undef → warnings The correct call should be: my $strtop_len = $pdf->StrWidth($strtop, 'Courier', $font_size) * 1.5; -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 41719] New: Add rendering test coverage for Labels and Patroncards
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Sep '26

11 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41719 Bug ID: 41719 Summary: Add rendering test coverage for Labels and Patroncards Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Test Suite Assignee: chris(a)bigballofwax.co.nz Reporter: chris.nighswonger(a)veritassuperaitsolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The label and patron card rendering code paths in C4::Labels::Label and C4::Patroncards::Patroncard lack test coverage for their core drawing methods. This patch adds: - t/db_dependent/Labels/t_Label.t - Extends existing tests with subtests for: - draw_label_text() - text positioning and formatting - draw_guide_box() - guide box rendering - barcode() - all supported barcode types (CODE39, COOP2OF5, INDUSTRIAL2OF5, EAN13) - create_label() - printing type orchestration (BIB, BAR, BIBBAR, BARBIB) - t/db_dependent/Patroncards/t_Patroncard.t - New test file covering: - draw_guide_box() and draw_guide_grid() - draw_text() with patron data substitution - draw_barcode() with multiple barcode types - draw_image() with generated test image - End-to-end PDF output validation Tests use t::lib::TestBuilder fixtures and transaction rollback for isolation. [Bug 38187] New: Add ability to delete patron attributes in batch patron modification
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38187 Bug ID: 38187 Summary: Add ability to delete patron attributes in batch patron modification Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: enica(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com You can batch modify patron attribute in a batch, but you cannot completely delete the attribute on a patron's account. To test: - Add an attribute to a patron's account. - Perform batch patron modification. - Under Patron attribute you can either add a new attribute or update existing one. You can set the attribute to blank to clear the values, but the attribute will remain on the account as blank. It would be nice if there's a way to delete the patron attribute all together. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 39314] New: RabbitMQ can't upgrade from 3.x to 4.x without running a data migration on 3.13
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39314 Bug ID: 39314 Summary: RabbitMQ can't upgrade from 3.x to 4.x without running a data migration on 3.13 Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Installation and upgrade (command-line installer) Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: victor(a)tuxayo.net QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com Reported to Debian as it affects their next release which will do a jump from 3.10 to 4.0: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1100165#10 Which can't work: https://www.rabbitmq.com/docs/upgrade «You can only upgrade to RabbitMQ 4.0 from RabbitMQ 3.13.» «stable feature flags have to be enabled before the upgrade. The upgrade will fail if you miss this step.» See there more more details. ----- For us: is there still data in RabbitMQ when stopping a Koha instance and upgrading it? I recall reading that the DB was basically mirroring the message queue data during a discussion about the actual need for a dedicated message queue. Does it mean the koha-common package can wipe the RabbitMQ data which will allow it to start without issue? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 40594] New: Allow batch record modification to create multiple items on existing bibs

I don't know the reason behind it, but the original test plan stated: test with more than one occurrence of 952$a -> confirm 'FK constraint' error is shown, no modification made I don't think there's any reason why this restriction should exist. The attached Marc Modification Template sample should work perfectly fine and add new - multiple - items to biblio records, as mapped. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 39208] New: printoverdues.sh requires unavailable cli tool
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Sep '26

11 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39208 Bug ID: 39208 Summary: printoverdues.sh requires unavailable cli tool Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: alexander.wagner(a)desy.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz `printoverdues.sh` relies on `xhtml2pdf` for the conversion of a HTML document to a printable PDF version of said document. At time of writing, this tool dropped out of Debian (bookworm) and Ubuntu stable and sometimes older releases including backports and the like. Debian oldstable still keeps it, but no upstream releases beyond. This may endanger the functionality in Koha upstream. Possible solutions: - Manual installation outside the package management (and bugfixing) of the distribution via `pip`. That would also require a suitable documentation. - Use an alternative tool chain within the distributions (e.g. pandoc, if heading for a swiss army knife of format transformations. For PDF pandoc would require latex as "helper"). Note that `printoverdues.sh` is referred to explicitly in the implementation checklist. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
