01 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28974 Bug ID: 28974 Summary: Add pagination to holds queue viewer Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com We have a partner processing thousands of holds per day, per branch. At this number of holds, the script loads very slow if it manages to load at all. Paginating the results of the holds queue will allow this page more flexible and load more quickly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. Koha should systematically display the label and not the code of the value. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 41295] New: Restore deleted records tool to show child records / component parts in connection with the host record
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 01 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41295 Bug ID: 41295 Summary: Restore deleted records tool to show child records / component parts in connection with the host record Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: anneli.osterman(a)koha-suomi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl Bug 17387 added new feature to restore deleted bibliographic records and items. The new tool does not show if the bibliographic record has child records / component parts or the fact that the listed record is a component part. The restore tool should show the component parts in connection with the host record and suggest that component parts are also restored when the host record is restored. The link between host and component part is recorded in component part's field 773 (MARC21). Field 773w contains the same value as host records field 001. The field 773t contains host record's title. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 42719] New: OAuth/OIDC login crashes with 500 when no CGISESSID cookie exists (IdP-initiated flow)
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 01 Oct '26

01 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42719 Bug ID: 42719 Summary: OAuth/OIDC login crashes with 500 when no CGISESSID cookie exists (IdP-initiated flow) Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Authentication Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com QA Contact: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk CC: dpavlin(a)rot13.org When a user initiates login from the IdP (e.g. clicking an app tile in Okta), they are redirected directly to Koha's /api/v1/oauth/login/{provider}/{interface} endpoint without ever visiting a Koha page first. Since no Koha page was visited, no session exists and no CGISESSID cookie is present. The code at Koha::REST::V1::OAuth::Client line 99 calls: $c->req->cookie('CGISESSID')->value This crashes with: Can't call method "value" on an undefined value The fix is to create a session on-the-fly when the initial OAuth request has no existing session cookie. This supports IdP-initiated SSO flows while preserving CSRF protection (the state parameter is still bound to the session via the browser's cookie jar). The same guard is needed on the callback branch's check_csrf call â if the cookie is missing on callback, redirect with an error instead of crashing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 40101] New: Add `Koha::Patron->can_place_holds`
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 01 Oct '26

01 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40101 Bug ID: 40101 Summary: Add `Koha::Patron->can_place_holds` Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: PC OS: Mac OS Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P1 - high Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com Some checks for patron's ability to place holds are baked in * controllers (e.g. opac-reserve.pl, request.pl) * templates (e.g. opac-reserve.tt, request.tt) We should move that logic into a reusable sub, covered with tests. My initial motivation is bug 39657 so we use this on the API, but it is a good opportunity to start cleaning up the codebase in the area as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
