[Bug 41991] New: Temporarily suspend a plugin method or specific plugin class

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41991 Bug ID: 41991 Summary: Temporarily suspend a plugin method or specific plugin class Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Plugin architecture Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org This starts from a use case where I do want to suspend a certain item plugin hook for a specific command line process. But I dont want to disable the plugin for all processes. So yes, this requires enough understanding from the admin who does that. My idea is to introduce something similar here to the override_syspref construct. To allow suspending a plugin method or class via an environment variable. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 34222] New: Add ability to use non-sequential barcodes when adding multiple copies of an item
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34222 Bug ID: 34222 Summary: Add ability to use non-sequential barcodes when adding multiple copies of an item Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: esther.melander(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl Currently when adding multiple copies of an item the system assigns sequential barcodes based on the barcode entered on the first item. It would be nice to be able to scan the barcodes that should be assigned to the copies, especially if the library does not use sequential barcodes. This could be accomplished by clicking add multiple copies of this item and having a box appear where barcodes could be scanned. The barcodes can then be assigned to the number of copies. It is not necessary to assign specific barcodes to specific items because the items are identical copies. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 29800] New: Add option to calculate fines when an item is marked lost
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

21 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29800 Bug ID: 29800 Summary: Add option to calculate fines when an item is marked lost Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com We have the system preferences CalculateFinesOnReturn and CalculateFinesOnBackdate to make Koha calculate overdue fines as an item is returned, either in place of or in addition to the fines cron. However, if one marks an item as lost and has MarkLostItemAsReturned enabled, the issue will be ended without an overdue fine being calculated. We should add the option to calculate an overdue fine at the moment of marking an item lost. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
