We have four people involved in the ordering/receiving process which makes it challenging when someone needs to add orders to a basket on which someone also needs to receive. This obviously isn't an issue with EDI vendors, but for our non-EDI vendors, we typically have monthly or weekly baskets that we add to all throughout the week like Amazon, so the orders are showing up at the same time we are adding more orders to the basket. Create a patron category of type 'Professional' (or any type that allows guarantors) 2. Create 3 patrons in this category. Let's call them A, B, and C 3. Do at least one checkout for A and at least one for C 4. Make B the guarantor of C 5. Go to B details page. You should see the checkouts of C in the "Relatives' checkouts" tab 6. Go to B checkout page. You should see the checkouts of C in the "Relatives' checkouts" tab 7. Make A the guarantor of B 8. Go to B details page. Now you should see the checkouts of A in the "Relatives' checkouts" tab but not the checkouts of C (KO) 9. Go to B checkout page. However, this change no longer respects the manual "Appear in position" value (additional_content.number). Previously, libraries could assign a position number to pin or manually order specific news items. After Bug 39027, news items are always ordered by publication date, regardless of whether a manual position has been assigned. To recreate: 1. Create two or more news items. 2. Assign an "Appear in position" value to one of the items (for example, 1). 3. Give another news item a more recent publication date. 4. View the news on the OPAC or staff interface. 5. Notice that the newer item is displayed first instead of the item with the assigned position. Expected behavior: If a news item has an "Appear in position" value, that value should take precedence over the default publication date ordering. But the other day I was reminded about their existence, and then when I was installing MarcEdit 7.8 I noticed it has a dependency on WebView2 which is a Microsoft-based technology that provides a native app wrapper around a web view (ie a HTML/CSS/Javascript frontend). While mobile apps like Solus have integrations with Koha, Koha itself has had any downloadable/installable apps but people have certainly asked for them. I know we're short on time overall, but I wonder how challenging it might be to provide a PWA for the OPAC. Whether we could just wrap the existing OPAC or whether we'd need to build something more separately (which could take advantage of APIs).
