https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43488 Bug ID: 43488 Summary: The location field contains parentheses: `Boadilla del Monte (Madrid)`. If these are not properly escaped or enclosed in quotes from the parser's perspective, the system might misinterpret the inner closing parenthesis `)` as the end of a command group ra Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 26.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: angel.duran(a)coria.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- WARNING: query problem with (rk=(kw,wrdl, rtrn="ccl=pl:"Boadilla del Monte (Madrid)" and se:El barco de vapor. [Serie blanca] and se:Serie Pupi and (( (allrecords,AlwaysMatches='') and (not-onloan-count,st-numeric >= 1) and (lost,st-numeric=0) )) and au=Menéndez-Ponte, MarÃÂa" )) and se=El barco de vapor. [Serie blanca] ZOOM error 10014 "CCL parsing error" (addinfo: "')' expected") from diag-set 'ZOOM' at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Search.pm line 383. From Gemini IA This is a database search error from an integrated library system (Koha) using the ZOOM CCL (Common Command Language) parser. ## What the Error Means * **Error Code:** `ZOOM error 10014` * **Message:** `"CCL parsing error" (addinfo: "')' expected")` * **Cause:** The search query string contains a **mismatched or missing parenthesis (`(` or `)`)**. The parser expected a closing parenthesis to complete an expression block, but it reached the end of the query or encountered an unexpected character instead. --- ## How to Fix It 1. **Check Parentheses Matching:** Look closely at the nested parentheses in your query structure, particularly around the availability limits: `(( (allrecords,AlwaysMatches='') and (not-onloan-count,st-numeric >= 1) and (lost,st-numeric=0) ))` Make sure every opening parenthesis has a corresponding closing parenthesis. 2. **Check Special Characters in Fields:** The location field contains parentheses: `Boadilla del Monte (Madrid)`. If these are not properly escaped or enclosed in quotes from the parser's perspective, the system might misinterpret the inner closing parenthesis `)` as the end of a command group rather than plain text. 3. **Simplify the Query:** Try running the search with fewer filters (e.g., just searching for the author `Menéndez-Ponte, María` and series `El barco de vapor`) and add the availability or location constraints step-by-step to see where the syntax breaks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43493] New: Link Koha::Library opening hours with the library Calendar
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 10 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43493 Bug ID: 43493 Summary: Link Koha::Library opening hours with the library Calendar Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Depends on: 43492 Blocks: 36079 Target Milestone: --- Bug 36079 points out that library opening hours and the library Calendar are not linked in any meaningful way: a library can have a weekly closure configured for a day it also has opening hours set for, and nothing reconciles the two - they are entirely separate subsystems that happen to share a library_id foreign key. Building on the library_opening_hours facade from Bug 43492, this bug adds a Koha::Library->opening_hours accessor and makes the facade's availability checks (is_open_at, next_change) consult Koha::Library->calendar->is_holiday first: if the Calendar says the library is closed that day for any reason (weekly closure, repeating closure, single closure, correctly excluding exception-override days), opening hours checks report closed regardless of what hours are configured. This resolves Bug 36079 by composing the two existing facades rather than merging their storage - Calendar remains the source of truth for whether the library is open at all on a given day, and Opening Hours remains the source of truth for which windows it is open during. [Bug 36596] New: Opening/closing hours should be forced to be set together

I would use either 'dow' or 'day_of_week'. And it should be clear which one is the first in the comments. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 36079] New: Library hours and the Calendar are not linked in any meaningful ways

It does not, however, respect weekday closed days as defined in the Calendar page. We should expose that detail from the libraries interface, including in the summary table, details view and edit form. I believe this would be best achieved by migrating the weekly closed days from repeatable holidays into the new library_hours table and thus making it available via the existing library_hours embed in the API. This makes it trivial to display the open/closed state in the api driven datatable as well as on the view and edit pages. We should continue to support displaying and editing these weekly closed days from the calendar too, however. [Bug 37617] New: Opening and closing hours should be either delivered in libraries responses or have a dedicated endpoint

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37617 Bug ID: 37617 Summary: Opening and closing hours should be either delivered in libraries responses or have a dedicated endpoint Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: REST API Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: paul.derscheid(a)lmscloud.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com I'd suggest that we make the opening and closing times accessible via the API for usage within koha (for example in Vue) as well as usage on external websites (for example an institution's main website separate from the OPAC). We could either add it to the /libraries endpoint's responses or create a dedicated endpoint for opening hours. I'm leaning more towards the inclusion within the library responses. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
