https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10190 --- Comment #948 from Pedro Amorim (ammopt) <pedro.amorim(a)openfifth.co.uk> --- Created attachment 205174 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=205174&action=e… Bug 10190: (QA follow-up): fix: rule data never loads on cold page load The route watcher only reloaded rule data when the path ended in the literal string "circulation_triggers", broken by the anchor-on-.pl fix, or on "refresh" navigations. Neither fires on a cold load, so the base list rendered empty and a direct deep link into a nested route (e.g. edit) got stuck on "Loading context...". Trigger the reload by route name instead, and also on the watcher's first call, covering cold loads into any nested route. Test plan: 1. Add a new trigger for any library/category by visiting: http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/admin/circulation_triggers.pl directly. Confirm the trigger and its tab are shown, not an empty list. 2. Visit http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/admin/circulation_triggers.pl/edit?libra… directly. Confirm the modal loads the rule context instead of being stuck on "Loading context..." 3. prove t/cypress/integration/Admin/CirculationTriggers_spec.ts Assisted-by: Claude Sonnet 5 (Anthropic) Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply(a)anthropic.com> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 43381] New: Report row count query ( nb_rows ) ignores report_sql_max_statement_time_seconds
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 08 Sep '26

08 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43381 Bug ID: 43381 Summary: Report row count query ( nb_rows ) ignores report_sql_max_statement_time_seconds Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Reports Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com Target Milestone: --- Bug 39164 added report_sql_max_statement_time_seconds, which wraps report SQL in a SET STATEMENT max_statement_time so the database kills a runaway report. It works for the query that fetches the results, but not for the query that counts them. C4::Reports::Guided::execute_query() applies the limit to its own copy of the SQL, so the caller's copy is untouched. reports/guided_reports.pl then hands that original SQL to nb_rows(), which runs SELECT COUNT(*) FROM $sql with no time limit. If that wrapper fails ( e.g. "Duplicate column name" ), nb_rows falls back to running the report a second time and counting every row by hand, also with no limit. Test Plan: 1) Apply the first patch 2) prove t/db_dependent/Reports/Guided.t 3) Note the 'nb_rows() tests' subtest fails! 4) Apply the remaining patches 5) prove t/db_dependent/Reports/Guided.t 6) Note the tests pass now! 7) Add this to koha-conf.xml: <report_sql_max_statement_time_seconds>2<report_sql_max_statement_time_seconds> 8) Restart all the things! 9) Create a report with the SQL: SELECT b1.borrowernumber FROM borrowers b1, borrowers b2 WHERE SLEEP(0.005) = 0 10) Run the report 11) Note the page comes back in about 2 seconds, the first 20 rows are shown, and "Total number of results" is *not* displayed! 12) Comment out report_sql_max_statement_time_seconds in koha-conf.xml 13) Restart plack again 14) Run the report again 15) Note the page now takes about 20 seconds and "Total number of results" is displayed! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 22322] New: Self-checkin module should provide for automatic logins (like self-checkout)
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=22322 Bug ID: 22322 Summary: Self-checkin module should provide for automatic logins (like self-checkout) Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: oliver.behnke(a)aei.mpg.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Target Milestone: --- The self-checkin (SCI) module currently requires to set up a dedicated kiosk terminal for its purpose. The reason being that you can't provide user/password system preferences for an automatic login, like you can for the self-checkout (SCO) counterpart. Our use case is the following: we are already using the SCO module with automatic login of the dedicated SCO patron, and our actual patrons identify themselves via their cardnumber. While they can obviously check in their books via the SCO module, we'd like to streamline the process such that they don't have to login with their cardnumber in order to simply return a book. The SCI module would be ideal for this but, effectively, it can't be used on the same terminal as switching between the modules currently requires a manual login of the dedicated SCI patron. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 10190] Overdue notice triggers based on item type
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 Sep '26

07 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10190 --- Comment #947 from Pedro Amorim (ammopt) <pedro.amorim(a)openfifth.co.uk> --- Created attachment 205163 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=205163&action=e… Bug 10190: (QA follow-up): fix: anchor circulation triggers on .pl admin-home.tt, the Vue router base path, and one router.push in CirculationTriggersFormAdd.vue link to the pretty /cgi-bin/koha/admin/circulation_triggers URL, which only resolves via a RewriteRule that never reaches an already-installed site on package upgrade. This is what comment 192 hits. Point all three at circulation_triggers.pl instead, same convention SIP2 and ERM use for their base route: reachable via Apache's default cgi-bin routing, no RewriteRule needed. Sub-routes (add/edit/etc.) stay under circulation_triggers.pl too, so the URL bar shows .pl throughout rather than just on initial load. Update Cypress spec URLs to match. The old RewriteRule (^/cgi-bin/koha/admin/circulation_triggers(.*)?$ -> circulation_triggers.pl$1 [PT]) is now both unused and actively harmful: it matches its own rewrite target, so hitting circulation_triggers.pl directly gets rewritten to circulation_triggers.pl.pl, which does not exist, 404. Remove it from debian/templates/apache-shared-intranet.conf and etc/koha-httpd.conf. Test plan: 1. Starting from a migration (apply all patches, yarn api:bundle, yarn js:build, updatedatabase, restart_all): 2. Go to Administration, click 'Circulation triggers'. Confirm it loads with no 404 (URL bar shows circulation_triggers.pl) 3. Add a new trigger and save. Confirm it saves with no routing errors 4. prove xt/check_apache_conf.t Assisted-by: Claude Sonnet 5 (Anthropic) Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply(a)anthropic.com> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=8214 Michaela Sieber <michaela.sieber(a)kit.edu> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|Needs Signoff |Failed QA --- Comment #55 from Michaela Sieber <michaela.sieber(a)kit.edu> --- This already looks quite good. However, the barcode linking needs to be adjusted. it looks to me as though the barcode is being truncated on both the left and right sides. For example, when I enter 123, the item that gets linked in my case is 39999000001235, the barcode 123 does not exist. I have to double check the holds tests. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 37201] New: Add a syspref to allow or not a checkout if a expired booking exists for the same patron

I think it's a setting that might not suit everyone, so I've introduced a new system preference. I'll put my patch in place and await your comments. Thanks ^^ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
