https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43188 Bug ID: 43188 Summary: Remove mentions of version 24.11 in the Koha Manual Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Documentation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: aude.charillon(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: aude.charillon(a)openfifth.co.uk, david(a)davidnind.com, philip.orr(a)lmscloud.de Target Milestone: --- When we moved to the one manual for all versions, the Documentation team decided the Manual is for Koha versions supported by the community. 24.11 is now the new LTS version; we should use this as the base version and remove from the Manual any mentions it. What is actually new is what happened *since* 24.11, not *in* 24.11. - Remove the 24.11 section from the What's new page. - Search for any mentions of 24.11 in other pages. There will be version notes (new features) and attention notes (existing functionality deprecated or updated). The version notes should be removed. You may need to remove the whole paragraph or section an attention note is part of, if the feature does not work that way / does not exist in 24.11 and later. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12278 Pedro Amorim (ammopt) <pedro.amorim(a)openfifth.co.uk> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|Passed QA |Failed QA --- Comment #12 from Pedro Amorim (ammopt) <pedro.amorim(a)openfifth.co.uk> --- Hi guys, found this behavior worth addressing. A biblio with multiple subscriptions is enough to trigger this. 1. Go to <staff_url>/cgi-bin/koha/acquisition/vendors/1. Click "New" → "Basket", name it, "Save". 2. "Add to basket" → "From a new (empty) record". Fill Title, Quantity=1, Fund, Vendor price=100, "Save". 3. Click "Close basket", confirm. 4. "My Vendor" breadcrumb → "Receive shipments" → type any "Vendor invoice" name → "Next". 5. Click "Receive" on the order row. Set Quantity received=1, check "Receive?", confirm Actual cost ≠ 0, "Confirm" → "Finish receiving". 6. "My Vendor" → "Receive shipments" again. Note the Total for your invoice. 7. On that same pending-orders page, click the invoice (should lead you to /cgi-bin/koha/acqui/parcel.pl?invoiceid=1), then click the order's title link directly (under 'Summary' column). Click "New" → "New subscription", fill required fields, "Next", "Save subscription". Repeat once more on that exact record. 8. Reload "Receive shipments": Total for the same invoice is now doubled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 38202] New: Add table configuration and export options to table of subscriptions

[Bug 42540] New: Trap and throw elastic too_many_clauses errors instead of just dying
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 14 Aug '26

14 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42540 Bug ID: 42540 Summary: Trap and throw elastic too_many_clauses errors instead of just dying Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org This started out as an issue with Connexion gateway, but it's not actually directly related. The issue is that during import, a record may contain so many fields to match on that it exceeds the max clauses an es server is configured for. In this case Koha 500's and connex emits the generic "Unsuccessful request" error. It seems the best patch forward would be to trap this error and propagate it as a Koha Exception, rather than simply die. There may be other elastic errors we could add to this pattern but I've not encountered any others so far. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43285] New: Add Koha Plugin JS ESM module registry and loader
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 14 Aug '26

14 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43285 Bug ID: 43285 Summary: Add Koha Plugin JS ESM module registry and loader Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Plugin architecture Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: dcook(a)prosentient.com.au QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com, martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Target Milestone: --- There's been really cool work done on having Koha plugins add Vue.js content to Koha. See the following: Bug 42150 - Allow plugins to register Vue islands via registerIsland() Bug 42189 - Allow plugins to inject dashboard widgets via a shared Vue widget registry However, they rely on the existing intranet_js hook which means they need to generate HTML to be injected as <script> elements into Koha templates. While functional, it's not as optimal and seamless as it could be. -- I'm proposing a Koha core API endpoint which will return URLs to Javascript modules (specifically ESMs) based on a provided "context key". A Koha page will query this API endpoint with a context key like "smtp_servers" or "catalogue-detail" or whatever really. The API endpoint will then invoke a Koha Plugin Perl plugin hook like "esm_module_provider" (or whatever), which will compile of list of URLs of ESMs from Koha Plugins to load dynamically into that Koha HTML page. This is pure Javascript with no HTML created via Perl. When combined with "Bug 26129 - Add a new 'configurations' table", this could be an extremely powerful tool for customizing Koha using plugins, especially with a Javascript + API driven model. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
