[Bug 43317] New: Receive order line in open basket
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Aug '26

17 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43317 Bug ID: 43317 Summary: Receive order line in open basket Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lhilleary(a)wrl.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- I believe a number of updates are coming to acquisitions sometime next year, so this may already be in the works, but one feature that would be useful is the ability to receive orders in open baskets. We have four people involved in the ordering/receiving process which makes it challenging when someone needs to add orders to a basket on which someone also needs to receive. This obviously isn't an issue with EDI vendors, but for our non-EDI vendors, we typically have monthly or weekly baskets that we add to all throughout the week like Amazon, so the orders are showing up at the same time we are adding more orders to the basket. We don't ever send these non-EDI baskets, so we always have to close them before we can receive which is a bit disruptive. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43316] New: OpacResetPassword - rename or split into two system preferences
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Aug '26

17 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43316 Bug ID: 43316 Summary: OpacResetPassword - rename or split into two system preferences Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: System Administration Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: david(a)davidnind.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Target Milestone: --- As described in Bug 43315 - OpacResetPassword system preference - update description, the name and description for this system preference only mention the OPAC, but it also controls resetting a patron's password from the staff interface. To reproduce: 1. In the staff interface go to the patrons module > [choose a patron] > More. 2. Note that there is no "Send password reset" menu item. 3. Enable the OpacResetPassword system preference (set to "allowed"). 4. Repeat step 1 and note that there is now a "Send password reset" menu item. This bug is to explore these two options to fix what this system preference does: 1. Control the reset password behavour using two separate system preferences: - one for the staff interface - one for the OPAC 2. Rename the system preference so that it covers both. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 42953] New: Creating a Progressive Web App (PWA) for the OPAC
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Aug '26

17 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42953 Bug ID: 42953 Summary: Creating a Progressive Web App (PWA) for the OPAC Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: dcook(a)prosentient.com.au QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- I first heard about Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) back in 2018, but I never really had time or motivation to work on one. But the other day I was reminded about their existence, and then when I was installing MarcEdit 7.8 I noticed it has a dependency on WebView2 which is a Microsoft-based technology that provides a native app wrapper around a web view (ie a HTML/CSS/Javascript frontend). While mobile apps like Solus have integrations with Koha, Koha itself has had any downloadable/installable apps but people have certainly asked for them. I know we're short on time overall, but I wonder how challenging it might be to provide a PWA for the OPAC. Whether we could just wrap the existing OPAC or whether we'd need to build something more separately (which could take advantage of APIs). Anyway, just a thought for now... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42471 --- Comment #30 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- (In reply to wsparks from comment #29) > Thanks for handling this vuln report so smoothly. Do you all have a > estimated timeframe for the 26.11 release? Thanks for your patience! The 26.11 release isn't until November, but it's irrelevant for your case. The important thing is that the fix has been released for the currently supported versions: 26.05.02, 25.11.07, and 25.05.13. (It wasn't needed for 24.11.) So feel free to request a CVE and share it with us so we can update the report title with the ID. Thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
