https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24357 Bug ID: 24357 Summary: Hide checkout box when OverduesBlockCirc is set to Block Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: caroline.cyr-la-rose(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Created attachment 96861 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=96861&action=ed… patron with overdue items If OverduesBlockCirc is set to Block, the checkout box appears in the user's patron file. We can scan the barcode, but only after the item is scanned there is a message saying the patron cannot check out. If NoIssuesCharge is enabled, and the patron owes more than the amount specified, the check out box does not appear at all. Instead, there is a message saying Cannot check out. I think if OverduesBlockCirc is set to Block, the checkout box should be hidden, with a message Cannot check out Patron has overdue items, etc... See screenshots 1) patron with overdue items 2) warning saying that patron cannot checkout after I've already scanned the item's barcode 3) patron with charges over the amount in NoIssuesCharge -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 43111] New: Add --itemtype parameter to holds_reminder cron

However, search results do not ignore the articles 'a', 'an' and 'the' when displaying the results. I don't believe it used to be like this and other areas in acquisitions, such as invoices, ignore initial articles when displaying search results. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43129] New: Vue holds: port existing holds queue management panel
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Jul '26

21 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43129 Bug ID: 43129 Summary: Vue holds: port existing holds queue management panel Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Depends on: 43127 Blocks: 43123 Target Milestone: --- Port the existing holds queue management panel (currently the bottom half of reserve/request.tt) into the Vue holds module added in bug 43127, using KohaTable.vue against the existing GET /holds endpoint. No backend or endpoint change is required for this bug. This is the per-biblio pending holds list, distinct from Koha's separate Circulation Holds queue report (circ/view_holdsqueue.pl), which is addressed separately in another bug depending on bug 42503. Retain all current capabilities: - Priority reordering (drag and drop and arrow buttons). - Suspend and resume, individually and in bulk. - Cancel, individually and in bulk (via the existing background job). - Moving a hold between bib level and item level. - Hold group management. - HoldsSplitQueue support. Test plan 1. With UseNewHoldsInterface enabled, confirm the holds queue panel shows the same holds, in the same order, as reserve/request.pl for a given biblio. 2. Reorder hold priority via drag and drop and via the arrow buttons, and confirm the resulting priorities match the legacy interface. 3. Suspend, resume and cancel holds individually and in bulk, and confirm behaviour matches reserve/request.pl. 4. With HoldsSplitQueue enabled, confirm the queue is split into tabs as expected. [Bug 43128] New: Vue holds: granular item-level, club and multi-biblio hold workflow
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Jul '26

21 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43128 Bug ID: 43128 Summary: Vue holds: granular item-level, club and multi-biblio hold workflow Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Depends on: 43126, 43127 Blocks: 43123 Target Milestone: --- Extend the Vue holds module added in bug 43127 with the granular workflow, covering item level, item group, club and multi-biblio holds as configurations of a single paginated, filterable selection table. - ItemSelector component, a server side paginated table of items (via the enhanced GET /biblios/{id}/items endpoint from bug 43126), with holdability annotated per page rather than for the whole record, and single or multi select modes. - Item level and item group hold placement, honouring forced_hold_level and EnableItemGroupHolds. - Club holds, using the batch holdability endpoint from bug 43126 to replace the current per-member N+1 pattern. - Multi-biblio holds, firing holdability requests in parallel with progressive rendering as each response arrives. - Support for AllowHoldPolicyOverride, DisplayMultiItemHolds, HoldFeeMode and the other system preferences already read by reserve/request.pl. Test plan 1. Place an item level hold for a specific copy and confirm the correct item is held. 2. Place a club hold for a club with several enrolled members, including at least one member with a blocker, and confirm the summary and resulting holds match reserve/request.pl's current behaviour. 3. Place a multi-biblio hold across at least two titles, one holdable and one not, and confirm only the holdable title results in a hold. 4. Confirm the item table is paginated server side and holdability is computed only for the current page. 5. Run the existing Cypress suite covering item level and club holds against the new interface (with UseNewHoldsInterface enabled) and confirm no regressions. [Bug 43131] New: Enable UseNewHoldsInterface by default and deprecate reserve/request.pl
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Jul '26

21 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43131 Bug ID: 43131 Summary: Enable UseNewHoldsInterface by default and deprecate reserve/request.pl Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Depends on: 43128, 43129 Blocks: 43123 Target Milestone: --- Once bugs 43128 and 43129 have landed and the new Vue holds interface has full functional parity with reserve/request.pl (including the full existing Cypress suite passing against it), flip the UseNewHoldsInterface system preference's default value to Yes and mark reserve/request.pl as deprecated in the documentation, while keeping it fully functional as a fallback. - Update all internal links (detail.pl, circulation pages, patron pages, etc) to point at the new interface when the preference is enabled. - Add a redirect from reserve/request.pl's query parameters to the equivalent Vue route when the preference is enabled, so existing bookmarks and integrations continue to work. - Document the migration for sites carrying local customisations to reserve/request.pl or js/holds.js. - Add basic structured logging of query counts in the new availability classes and a simple latency note for hold placement, so regressions can be caught after rollout. reserve/request.pl is not removed in this bug. It remains available for sites that disable UseNewHoldsInterface. Test plan 1. Confirm a fresh install defaults to UseNewHoldsInterface enabled and Place hold links route to the new interface. 2. Confirm disabling the preference restores reserve/request.pl as the active interface with no loss of function. 3. Follow at least one old style reserve/request.pl bookmarked URL with the preference enabled and confirm it redirects correctly to the new interface. 4. Confirm the full existing hold placement Cypress suite passes against the new interface. [Bug 43130] New: Vue-ify the Holds queue report (circ/view_holdsqueue.pl)
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Jul '26

21 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43130 Bug ID: 43130 Summary: Vue-ify the Holds queue report (circ/view_holdsqueue.pl) Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Depends on: 42503, 43127 Blocks: 43123 Target Milestone: --- Bug 42503 converts Koha's Circulation Holds queue report (circ/view_holdsqueue.pl, backed by the tmp_holdsqueue table populated by misc/cronjobs/holds/build_holdsqueue.pl) to a server side paginated jQuery DataTables view against a new GET /api/v1/holds/queue endpoint. It is not a Vue conversion. This bug replaces that jQuery DataTables rendering with a KohaTable.vue instance from the same shared component library introduced in bug 43127, reusing GET /api/v1/holds/queue unchanged. No new backend work is required. This bug depends on bug 42503 landing first, so as not to race or duplicate its REST implementation. It is a front end only change and is not on the critical path of the rest of this epic. Test plan 1. With bug 42503 and this bug applied, navigate to Circulation, Holds queue. 2. Confirm the page loads via the Vue component and shows the same columns and data as the jQuery version introduced by bug 42503. 3. Change the library filter and confirm the table reloads via the API without a full page reload. 4. Confirm sorting and pagination behave the same as the jQuery version.
