[Bug 42573] New: Automatic purging of suggestions on different statuses
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 08 May '26

08 May '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42573 Bug ID: 42573 Summary: Automatic purging of suggestions on different statuses Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lhilleary(a)wrl.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org We would like to be able to set different times for suggestions to be purged from the system. For example, anything that has been rejected would be deleted after 3 months, anything on Ordered status after 6 months. We would also like to be able to set this up for any authorized status values that we added for our system. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13823 --- Comment #7 from Laura Escamilla <Laura.escamilla(a)bywatersolutions.com> --- Created attachment 198889 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=198889&action=e… Bug 13823: Add item notes to item search results This patch adds the public and non-public item note fields to the staff client item search results. Edit an item and add text to both: - Public note - Non-public note / Internal note 3. Go to Cataloging > Item search. 4. Run a search that returns the edited item. 5. Open the Columns menu. 6. Confirm Public note and Internal note appear as toggleable columns. 7. Toggle both columns on. 8. Confirm the notes display correctly in the item search results table. 9. Go to Administration > Table settings > Catalog > Item search > results. 10. Confirm itemnotes and itemnotes_nonpublic appear in the table settings. 11. Export the item search results to CSV. 12. Confirm the CSV includes Public note and Internal note columns with the expected values. 13. Sign off and have an incredible day! :D -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 42168] New: Number in patron's Holds tab should reflect true number of holds
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 08 May '26

08 May '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42168 Bug ID: 42168 Summary: Number in patron's Holds tab should reflect true number of holds Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: sbrown(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Currently, if a patron has 5 titles on hold but 2 of them are part of a group, the number on their Holds tab will be 4 (3 individual 'standard' holds + 1 group made up of 2 holds). But since each hold within a group counts individually toward patrons' hold limits, it seems that the number should reflect their total holds count, perhaps with an indication of the number of groups within that total. In the example above, the number could display as '5 (1)' or '5/1' for 5 total holds and 1 group. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 14962] Temp Shelving Location / On Display Module
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 08 May '26

08 May '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14962 Andrew Fuerste-Henry <andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|Signed Off |Failed QA --- Comment #266 from Andrew Fuerste-Henry <andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com> --- Marking this FQA for several issues which I've conveyed to Jake and Martin. When updated, it should go to NSO. Issues include: - Items don’t return in searches for display values – a search by library, shelving location, collection code, or itemtype should return records based on their on-display value rather than their permanent value - Edit_displays permission should not allow one to add/remove items from either the edit screen or the batch tools - Holds to pull page won’t open when there are holds (regardless of whether or not those holds are on on-display items): “Can't call method "itemnumber" on an undefined value at /kohadevbox/koha/circ/pendingreserves.pl line 325” - Home library shows ‘undefined’ in holdings table when item is on-display - Checkouts table in patron record cannot open, gives message “something went wrong when loading the table” - When Display Library is null, display should be visible to users with view_displays permission, should not require view_displays_from_any_library - Creating displays and adding items to displays should be distinct permissions - Attempting an action for which one does not have permission should give a message about permission, not a generic error (“An error occurred while saving the display”, “Internal Server Error. Please check the browser console for diagnostic information.”) - Ideally, one would not be shown buttons for actions one does not have permission for, but a clear “you don’t have permission for this action” message would be an acceptable stopgap while waiting for a fuller fix -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
