https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40154 Bug ID: 40154 Summary: Deleting an item does not warn about an item level hold Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: anni.maki-mantila(a)turku.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl At the moment, Koha doesn't give any warning if user is deleting an item that has a hold attached to it. Item is simply deleted and the item level hold vanishes as well. To reproduce: 1. Make an item level hold 2. Delete the item using alternative A or B: A: Open the biblios Detail-view -> From the toolbar, open "Edit"-dropdown menu -> Manage items -> Delete the item that has an item level hold attached to it from "Actions"-dropdown menu B: Open the biblios Detail-view -> Select the item that has an item level hold attached to it -> Click "Delete selected items" -> Confirm deletion 3. Notice that the item is deleted without any warning and the item level hold has disappeared 4. Run following sql report: SELECT * FROM old_reserves WHERE biblionumber = [biblionumber you used in the test] 5. Notice that the item level hold is not found in old_reserves-table -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 42203] New: Add information to authorities' summary
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 30 Mar '26

30 Mar '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42203 Bug ID: 42203 Summary: Add information to authorities' summary Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: MARC Authority data support Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: januszop(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In some cataloguing environments, it is important to have access to additional information when selecting an authority record while cataloging (e.g. the series ISSN, the identifier of the original record, the thesaurus from which the heading originates--especially in the case of identical or similar headings). At present, verifying this requires opening each record individually, which is cumbersome. Adding configurable identifier information to the summary in the authority search results would be very helpful. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 42220] New: Booking availability blocked by non-bookable checked out item on same bib

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42220 Bug ID: 42220 Summary: Booking availability blocked by non-bookable checked out item on same bib Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: esther.melander(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com To replicate: Set up a bibliographic record with three item records: Item A – Not bookable, currently checked out, due in 2 weeks Item B – Bookable, currently available Item C – Not bookable, currently available Attempt to place a booking for Item B. Notice the available booking date is for after the due date of Item A. Update the status of Item C to bookable. Notice the previously unavailable booking dates are now available. Both Item B and C can be used to place the booking. It should not have been necessary to make all of the potentially available items for checkout also available for bookings. Koha should have allowed a booking on the one item that was bookable and available. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 40779] New: returned checkout generates refund if fee was cancelled
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 30 Mar '26

30 Mar '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40779 Bug ID: 40779 Summary: returned checkout generates refund if fee was cancelled Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 25.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Fines and fees Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bdaeuber(a)cityoffargo.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org If you cancel a fee for a lost item, that item will create a credit when it is returned. To recreate: 1. Ensure WhenLostChargeReplacementFee is set to "Charge" and that "Refund lost item replacement fee" in circ rules is set to "refund lost item charge". 2. Check out an item that has a replacement cost. 3. Set the item to lost. 4. Go to the Accounting tab and view Transactions. 5. Cancel the charge. 6. Return the item. Note that the patron now has a credit. This does not appear to be the case when a fine is written off. I also question whether canceling a fee should mark and item as Paid as I've always viewed "Cancel charge" as an "oops" button when someone accidentally makes something lost, so it probably shouldn't set the item to paid. But that might be outside of the scope of this ticket. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 42199] New: Make the Add patron form more accessible for keyboard and screen reader users
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 30 Mar '26

The checkbox says 'Show collapsed fields' but these fields are actually hidden not collapsed in the way that a screen reader understands. The keyboard or screen reader user just has to learn that this checkbox is their only hope of expanding the hidden fields. There's no way for them to easily navigate between the fieldsets. Each legend is clickable by mouse to expand and collapse. The same functionality should be available to keyboard users. Screen readers should announce the state of the content as collapsed or expanded. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
