[Bug 41472] New: Saved search filters should allow saved sorting preference
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Dec '25

17 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41472 Bug ID: 41472 Summary: Saved search filters should allow saved sorting preference Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: catrina(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When editing a search filter, you have the ability to select the sort order. However, that sorting is not respected when the search filter is applied to a search. For example, if I want to create a save search of popular releases published this year, I want the sort to stay on Popularity and not revert back to Relevancy. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 41470] New: Add ability to convert patron guarantors to non-patron guarantors in batch
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Dec '25

17 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41470 Bug ID: 41470 Summary: Add ability to convert patron guarantors to non-patron guarantors in batch Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jrobb(a)sekls.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Currently, patron accounts cannot be deleted in batch if they have linked guarantees. My process for unlinking accounts at the moment is to edit each individual guarantee account, remove the guarantor with the checkbox and manually enter the guarantor firstname, surname, and relationship into the non-patron guarantor section. That frees up the guarantor account for deletion while maintaining pertinent information for the remaining guarantee account. It would save a lot of time if the conversion of patron guarantor to non-patron guarantor could be handled in a batch. It would be most handy if this were an addirional option in the batch patron deletion tool, but might also make sense as something the patron batch modification tool could do. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 19917] New: Holds for self registered patrons
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19917 Bug ID: 19917 Summary: Holds for self registered patrons Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com There needs to be a switch in place that does not allow a hold to be triggered if the hold is for a patron in the self registered category. Our library workflow: * Allows self registered patrons to place a couple of holds. * Doesn't assign an automatic card number. * Prints specialized hold slips * Allows self pickup Ideally, we would want the preference to not trigger the hold if the self registration category is in use on the patron with the hold, and a message to come up asking staff to go ahead and assign a card number, or something to that effect. Right now, when the hold is triggered, the slip comes out wrong because there is data missing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
