https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21551 Bug ID: 21551 Summary: Automatically update guarantee when updating guarantor Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 18.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com It would be great if an update to a guarantor's contact information also updated all guarantees. It appears there used to be code for this, but it didn't work and was removed. [Bug 41304] New: Patron category privacy setting needs clarity
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Nov '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41304 Bug ID: 41304 Summary: Patron category privacy setting needs clarity Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: esther.melander(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com The Patron Category privacy setting explains how each option impacts the history that is kept for the patron. The text only refers to checkout history. However, the setting also impacts holds history. The text should be updated. Here is the current text: "Controls how long a patrons checkout history is kept for new patrons of this category. "Never" anonymizes checkouts on return, and "Forever" keeps a patron's checkout history indefinitely. When set to "Default", the amount of history kept is controlled by the cronjob batch_anonymise.pl which should be set up by your system administrator." Updating the the text to include holds, such as "checkout and holds history" would provide clarity. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 38457] New: custom field in debit type to allow for external finance system codes to be added
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Nov '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38457 Bug ID: 38457 Summary: custom field in debit type to allow for external finance system codes to be added Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Point of Sale Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: hdunne-howrie(a)westminster.gov.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com Problem - Any external finance systems have separate codes that may not align 1:1 with debit type lines. For example, a library might have a retail offer with 50 item lines but these products may align to 10 finance codes. This means it is time consuming/impossible for staff during finance reporting to match up finance codes with item lines from Koha reports. Proposed solution - An additional field within debit types would allow us to add in these finance codes and create reports based on takings by these codes (as opposed to each individual debit type line. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
