After running a test install on Lucid Apache2 did not appear to start. After debconf set up the MySQL bits for me this was a bit of a surprise. This appeared to be because: a) mod_rewrite wasn't turned on, and b) the default website stayed resident (even though the koha site was enabled) I'd be happy if there was a note in debconf to say that apache will need a bit of work (cf. zebra in the web installer). ___ >From Notebook: Immediately post install apache wasn't running. Obviously this would need to be an option that could be enabled for a given instance of Koha. In my case, the Koha instance is on the public internet and I would be happy for anyone to create an account. Using a scan machine is like typing 'enter' and saving this receive, it is unwanted. For serials-edit it's the same problem. So this patch do the same in the two pages. Bug is found in /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/tools/upload-cover-image.pl The following line (64) must be changed: >>> flagsrequired => { tools => 'upload_cover_images' }, To: >>> flagsrequired => { tools => 'upload_local_cover_images' }, This will solve the problem.
